But how does his flame stuff equate to being a powercreep? (And didn't he claim it was even greater than Yamamoto's (which would make your point even stronger)).

it doesn't. that Bazz-B guy just meant that his flames are great enough to offset Yamamoto's enough to stay relatively undamaged. it wasn't as if Yamamoto hit them all with full force so it would make sense.

still, anyone kinda bummed that once again it looks like SS has been outdone again by the Vandenreich? I can understand that Kubo has to keep things tense and all, but damn, they're just not losing any real sort of advantage here.

He claimed that his flames are of a level to cancel out Yamamoto's to an extent, and they did.

He isn't near as powerful as the Captain Commander, he just has flames that can rival Yama casually flexing his Shikai.

Literally all Bazz-B did was not die against Yamamoto.

It wasn't like he escaped uninjured guys.

He's no closer to Yamamoto than, say, As Nodt. He just happened to have an ability to nullify flames.

pretty standard for bleach, or Manga in general, really. good guy "beats" bad guy, bad guy says "this isn't even my true form"... good guy says, "damn, i thought i'd be able to beat you wih using my last resort move". The Shinigami will win.

I just want a close fight. It's not that much to ask for and I know Kubo is capable of delivering that.

This whole chapter consists of proving just how underprepared Soul Society is for invasion which we kind of already knew considering a gang of ****ing teenagers have broken in and beat up captains.

Also why is it that either Urahara or Ichigo has to always bail these son of a guns out of a jam....C'mon Soul Society handle your own business for once.

Oh and Toshiro might get his bankai back and Roflstomp these guys...at least that's what I got from the last panel.

Okay chapter. Actiony. Not much to say beyond that.
