Good job Kubo, you've seen Edge of Tomorrow.
Mayuri is such a magnificent bastard- it's great.
edit- Mayuri has always been more or less an Aizen-light. Always unfazed by everything, always having a back-up for his back-ups for everything, always "just-as-planned"'ing his way to victory.
I like him if for no reason other than he's an awkwardly amusing character with interesting fights. Prdictable fights, yeah, but on a meta-level no more predictable than any of the other fights in this shitty manga. At least his victories stem from quirky inventions and experiments rather than the tired "ha! you may have defeated me in this form, but try fighting me in this form!" nonsense we've been subjected to in just about every Bleach fight in recent memory.

Izanami is an illusion, this drug seems to reset reality. Because in the current reality Mayuri never blew off Hitsugaya's leg and infected him like Mayuri mentions at the end.
So you honestly think Mayuri has conquered time and space and is sending him back in time?
lol
I don't think so.
When i read the chapter, I knew this reaction was coming. You people constantly complain about fights in Bleach and Naruto being too much like DBZ where the most powerful attack wins, and how you miss the days when strategy won fights... then you have a problem when a character uses his brain to defeat an opponent.
Hilarious.
This is why Mayuri and Urahara have always been favorites of mine.
