F*ckin midicholrians. They mortalised the Force, turned it from an intangible essence that's created by all life into something that resides within living organisms like a cell or parasite.

a symbiot.

A symbiont which ruined the movie.

true, but not just the movie, but the whole Star Wars saga!

EXACTLY!

but it did help the possibility for the vong!

No, it made the Vong impossible.

The Ving were Ok guys and all, great drinkin buddies, but no Force whatsoever, left me to pay the tab.

How?

Impossible that they didn't exist in the Force. The whole midichlorian thing is tied in with them some how.

No midi-chlorians means no life.

I hate the title of this thread...the movies might have their problems but they still are kick ass...

The OT was VERY good(ANH was Great, ESB Was cool, ROTJ ROCKED!)... The PT wasn't (TPM sucked, AOTC was pretty bad, ROTS was ok.) and EU beats the movies.

Where do you get that? No one in ANY of the movies said That life can't exist without Midichlorians.

Uggh...opinions of lesser-class......we need them in today's society. (cocks finger gun at anonymous person) 😉 😎

And the title of this thread DOES suck.

First part is total opinion. Not touching it.

Second part, Rex is telling the truth. Midi-chlorians are proxies for the Force, whch resides in all living things. The energy of the Force exists between them. Midi-chlorians are based loosely on mito-chondria, which is a real life sybioate that exists in living creatures on earth. Without mito-chondria, life couldn't exist on earth in the form of advanced creatures.

Hah, thanks Janus. If Jac doesn't understand that, I'm giving up.

You heard him. 'Why it beats the movies.' isn't exactly the good title for a discussion thread. Entirely opinion.

I laugh so much at these...

where do you learn all this stuff!? 🤨

Common knowledge if you've been through high school biology.

And it's Springfield, not Spriengfield.
