Yes. That is perhaps the biggest nonsense ever in the extended universe, making up that in the SW universe force isn't everywhere.
I can forgive the Issalimari creatures but the idea that the force is only in one galaxy completely contradicts the whole force idea from the movies.

Not neccisarilly, with the Midicholorian bullshit! The midicholorians can be Umm... You know when a thing is in only one aria? umm.. I can't remember the word... to that galaxy. If it weren't for that then the Vong couldn't be.

Except it is clearly stated that life cannot exist without the MCs.

And even if that wasn't so, the MCs do not decide the limit of where the Force is, simply how people live in symbiosis with it.
