Yup, as already noted, you are TOTALLY wrong! Try paying attention next time. MCs are a lifeform with a link TO the Force. The Force itself is totally different.

Incidentally, MCs reside inside ALL LIVING THINGS. Regardless of which Galaxy they are from. Life cannot exist without them!

Am I correct in saying that MC's dont make up the force, just opens yourself up to to it?

Also meaning, from what we have learned, that they cannot exist if there are no midi-chlorians. Midi-chlorians = life, overabundance of midi-chlorians = link to the Force, no midi-chlorians (should) = dead or not in existance.
