The hypocritical 'nutswinging' comments. . .

Truth is I don't even like Wolverine. (does he have to be in every comic I read?) But give the devil his due the man is a killing machine.

As for Sabertooth vs Colosuss. Well Sabertooth loves pain he would gladly let C grapple him just to jam his thumbs into the russians eyes, thumbs tipped with adamantium nails. After that its pretty much all over, and its really a question of how long Creed will torture Peter before killing him.

i dont know man...

im not really good at expressing my opinions and thoughts 🙂 that's why when i see a person who said something that agrees with my point of view i cosign it

i do try at times tho 😉

colossus is at a whole different level than creed, sabretooth will definately die.

Colossus is bigger older and stronger but only marginally. The composition of his skin hasnt changed either. So if WOlverine could theoretically cut him back then he can probably do it now

🤨 Colossus is nowhere NEAR Wolverine and Sabes when it comes to age. And Wolverine didn't cut him, Peter just dodged. Hell....i'd dodge even with colossus' powers. In Ultimates he tried and all he got were sparks.

Anyway, seeing as how there's no other example AFAIK of Colossus being hurt by sharp pointy metal thingies, i'll invoke the only instance that i recall where he was hurt by sharp pointy metal thingies. During the Morlock Massacre story arc, when he tries to save ......err.....Kitty pride i think, and Riptide tosses shurikens at him.

Now....what we have to do is compare the power with which Riptide tossed those shuriken with sabertooths power to see if it could penetrate his skin (as i recall he was VERY VERY badly wounded). Now.....riptide moves in a whirl at superhuman speeds.....i don't remember any reference as to just how fast, but it's pretty goddamn fast. The impact the shurikens have is incredibly powerful. I'd say it's strong enough to pierce a tank's armor with ease, but that's just speculation.

Question nr. 1: would Sabertooth be able to duplicate the speed/power at which the shurikens were tossed?
Question nr. 2: Has Colossus' skin been improved much more than it was then?

Wynndar was referring to Colossus being older now than he was when. Which is a pretty redundant point 😂
1. No
2. Where does this notion that only Colossus skin transmutes to organic steel when he transforms come from?

Someone squeeze me, mix me up with water and sugar and sell me at a lemonade stand 😖hifty:

1. i don't know yet.
2. I'm well aware that all his entire organs are covered with the organic steel, as well as his eyes, and everything else. I was asking if his skin is any stronger, seeing as how it's the skin that's usually the most frequently attacked.

Coated? I was always under the assumption all his tissues - muscle, adipose, connective, transmogrified into organic steel as part of his abilities. I thought I'd bold that because otherwise people will jump on it and say blah blah blah you said Wolverine can't have adamantium connective tissue.

Yeah, i'm pretty sure they're completely made out of it, not just coated. My bad there. I remembered when Colossus didn't change back to normal shape because the wounds he had sustained would've killed him........didn't Magneto play doctor with him to save him? 😕

I recall afterwards when he had recovered he was significantly stronger than he used to be?

Errrrr......no 😬
As i recall, after Magneto cured him.....sorta....he was afraid of going back into metal state, afraid he wouldn't switch back to human. He did eventually, and was stuck. I remember he....took a trip or something and then was alright, but don't remember how he managed to revert to human form. But i don't recall him being any stronger after that ❌

He says "I seem to be far stronger now than before." although it's ambiguous what he means.

You mean immediately after he recovers and helps vs. the Adversary, or in that crappy miniseries or whatever i remember it was where he changes his name and becomes a painter in.....er.....NY i think?

It's pretty irrelevant 😂 I'm pretty sure adult Colossus is stronger than he was back in the day as teenage Colossus.

Yeah, i'm sure he is stronger/more durable now. Question is how much more durable he is.

I'd pretty much allocate his words to him getting re-used to his armored form rather than an actual upgrade in strength 😬

Also, note how back then there wasn't one single issue without the words ultra, or some greek letters in it like alpha, omega, gamma, etc. 😂

The PIS thing has nothing to do with whether Wolverine consistently does anything - it isn't Wolverine's PIS, it is Hulk's, Colossus', Thing's, Superman's PIS if they hit someone with all their strength and the person isn't dead or at the very least knocked out.

I can't remember exactly when that Wolverine/Colossus thing happened - but I'm assuming he was still a teenager. You're a teenaged Colossus, an angry hairy Canadian man threatens you with claws you've seen cut through enemies. Even if he can't cut through you, you're not going to want him to try.
One should note that old teenaged Colossus and the new "made of rage" adult Colossus are two different things.

5 times jumping 25 ft with no more than enhanced human strength with a heavy adamantium skeleton, over an entire career is a statistical outlier.

Exactly, they think its wolverine, but its hulks pis.

Hulk has done much greater then guys like wolverine give him trouble.

See what i mean???

After reading all the "Hulk PIS vs Wolvie PIS" and remembering PIS is lowering of abilites, it makes perfect sense that Hulk vs Wolvie is Hulk PIS. Think how strong the hulk hits. He does crazy mess like blow craters in the earth and stuff like that, breaking Onslaughts armor, smacking asteroids etc etc. Him landing a punch would be so strong, it would be more than enough to instantly kill a human, just the trauma of impact alone. Like a 18 wheeler, with a fist out front to focus the pressure, hitting you goin 100 miles an hour. A human would instantly die, just like Wolverine. His neck would snap or be ripped off, his brain disjointed from the cord, the trauma would just be too immense. So Hulk's damage is lowered. Thats PIS.

And although Wolverine does have claws, he is obviously based off normal human anatomy. Humans often times have oddities, extra ribbs, extra muscles, strange muscles attachments, these are true mutations. Wolvie got claws, and probably muscles and things to use them, but his physiology is still human, not alien.

So my analyses weren't completely lost on everybody? 😄
