[] did u really have to do that?[]
Huon shot out into a phalanx of jackals.Unfortunatly for the marines the jackals had some stronger ones up in fornt and thye had smaller ones with less weight balanced up on top.A formidible opponent. But a grenade made it behind the group and shattered thier wilted and weak bodies. Then a small covenant squad came out. There was a elite in blood red armor and it started shooting at a marine in a nearby window. The marine was missed and another marines shot the elite in the head and then a jackal backed into a alley.a battle rifle picked him off.And then 2 marines started shooting into the now concerned grunts shredding them apart. There was probably little hope if these attacks kept up.Just then 2 ghosts came out and shot into the building at random angles. It was stupid but caused some minor wounds.Mostly just scratched and cuts but those still hurt a little bit.But they were able to hit a main support which brought down a wall of a office. The wall fell down and killed 2 grunts manning a plasma mounted gun.then the ghosts were taked out by a battle rifle.By now the ammo was starting to run low and already some of the marines had started to use thier pistol or smg side weapon.
Huon sent a request for ammo and troops at their location. It wasnt going to really turn into a actual request but just maybe one marine might make it to help them...
Huon put a signalm transmitter in a defendable location. Its range was very close but it might attract scattered marines. But unfortunatly a covenant banshee on p[atrol heard the transmission for help and zoomed into view of the building. The buildiong itself was only 4 stories tall.made mostly out of stone and had wooden support. It had been a garage (if im correct) but had some offices on top.Probably to save up space.Anyways the covenant banshee had started making runs on the building. But as luck would have it the launcher was lost during the battle and layed near a destroyed sports car across the street. And the ghosts had been taken care of by the gunners. But now with ammo dwindling,a banshee shooting at them and maybe a large outfit of covenant troops on the way it seemed all but hopeless.
As the battle wore on there was more gunfire and now some marines had started to throw rocks to conserve ammo. There were plenty of rocks to use.And the banshee was still attacking.the covenant held down thier positions and made reinforcement to some small barricades. They seemed to be waiting for something....And at that moment another wraith came rolling down the street...
Huon knew without a launcher it would be a hardfought battle. Now only a total of 7 clips of battle rifle ammo and 14 clips of smg and 3 clips of pistol plus the motherload of stones were the only arsenal available.....
Huon called for reinforcements quickly. And he told the marines to stop firing and reinforce thier positions as best as they can.And if they were low on ammo to throw rocks at the back of the tank orat the cannon.Maybe a rock would get lucky and jam itself in something.might cause some turmoil for a few moments...
Huon called again and hoped someone would hear it...
Tekka stood still in the room he currently was in. He turned to the door and kicked it open, walking up next to Shxzalor. He bowed to the elite to show his respect. "I am here now to end this" He said and standed up straight again. He watched Shxzalor and started walking some meters away from him. "Where am I?" He asked. "I came in an ODP and I think it came abit out of course when the ship blew" He stood perhaps four meters away from Shxzalor with his back turned and smiled. "I have seen the light, I know what I must do" He said and thought of the great journey. "It must be stopped." He turned around "Nothing shall stand in my way." He looked around, walked to an window and checked outside. "Are you alone?" He hoped so. He knew the humans were not to be trusted, and then it came to the demons. He hated them. He turned away from the window and walked up to Shxzalor. He gave him a smile. "Nice seeing you again"
((Remember that there is no help on this planet, aside from Sierra Squad, and the friendly Covenant, we players are on our own. I am using this "Chapter" as a way to draw us together or in some cases make connections so we have a reason to stay connected in the RP.))
"Alone...no...I am not. Two brethren, one clad in blood armor, Azsha, and one clad in a serene blue, Khorun, along with some Grunts. They are atop the humans building providing them with cover." He paused, "I know you wouldn't like working with the Humans, but right now they are the only ones with a ship. The other ship still in the heavens I am sure will be destroyed. We must ally ourselvse with them for the time being." Shxzalor smiled, “I see you have mastered the art of wielding the blades in its more advanced level. I am impressed. I would not be surprised to see if you had surpassed my own skill. Even if I am out of touch. I don’t know how long it was before this battle before my blade at met flesh. But I think we should busy ourselves with aiding these humans…but charging our brothers on this sphere.” He activated his own plasma sword, the red energy had small arcs of lightning like energy coursing between the blades. The sword itself was over a hundred years old, though still lethal. “It is good to stand beside you upon the field of battle once again brother.”
The Spartan turned to face the new threat. She was not so certain she would be able to pull this one off as easily. There was no time for her to try and reload her weapons so she grabed for a combat knife, knowing it was next to useless.
The elite took two steps foward and made two vicious swipes at her face with each energy sword. Raevynn backed up and avoided the first blow entirely, but the second she wasn't fast enough, the blade grazed the side of her face, leaving a slender cut. The elite noticed how close he was, and started to fight even harder. As the spartan recovered he sent his foot into her chest, knocking the air out of her lungs. Raevynn slammed into the floor and skidded across it on her side, coming to a stop next to the dead elite from earlier. She strugled to regain her strength and tried to stand, when his foot slammed into her chest again, this time pinning her to floor.
"The War is over for you, demon." He growled as he raised an energy sword and prepared to impale the weapon into her face.
Raevynn couldn't move from his grasp. She looked around franticly for something, anything, to help her. The elite began to laugh maliciously at her efforts, but only waited a few seconds before sending the blade straight for her head. At the same time Raevynn found what she was looking for.
The energy sword hissed violently as it met another of its kind instead of soft flesh. Raevynn had picked up the other aliens weapon and it was all that stood between her neck. She clentched her teeth as she struggled to keep the blade away from her, but the elite was stronger than her, and they both knew it. He lowered his face to hers, amused by her struggle. "You're making this alot harder than it has to be."
She remembered the knife, and quickly used one hand to grab for it. In return the blade moved faster towards her throat and she felt it start to burn. Raevynn jamed the combat knife into the elites eye and screwed it into the socket.
The elite reared backwards, taking the knife with him. As he stood there yelling, Raevynn sat up, rubbing at her throat. She thought she had won again, but an energy sword came flying towards her. The elite threw it like a spear in a desperate attempt. She moved out of the way but not fast enough. The weapon peirced her shoulder, pinning her to a wall. She screamed, and a sharp anger shot through her veins.
His eyes had been focused on the Elite…it looked oddly like the other Elite, Shxzalor…it looked oddly familiar. When it charged he stepped forward to help fight it off when he saw who, or rather what, it was fightning. It was indeed a Spartan, but not a Spartan 2, nor was it a NANO-TECH. He didn’t recognize the type, but she was not wearing a helmet. He didn’t know what the hell was going on, but her scream brought him back to reality. He felt like killing himself for what he has just done…
Axon: Ten, recco-
”I’m on it.” He charged forward, his heavy foot falls increasing in a steady rhythm, he needed to get that other Spartan able to fight, and he needed to go after the Elite, he could do both in one move.
The veins in Ten’s eyes started to turn black, flowing inward towards his pupils, the white around the pure black veins started to turn a dark bloody gray.
He ran forward, stepping into the wall the was the end of the shadow, into the light that rained down from the gaping hole in he ceiling. His pure black visor reflected brightly, the flash catching the Elite’s attention. He gripped the sword sticking out of the Spartan’s shoulder, and spun, pulling out and flipping it into the air so she could catch it by the handle.
The blackness flowed from the veins; his eyes were now pure black orbs. The veins in his arms and legs became more apparent; because they had darkened, and because they protruded from his skin slightly, courtesy of the billions of nanites now flowing through his skin.
The he dove at the Elite. Zanolar wrenched the knife from his eye, splattering Ten’s visor with blood. Ten slammed into the elite, all of the weight that was his armor, crashed into the elite, sending him flying into a wall, Ten with him. There was a crack as Ten slammed his shoulder into the Elite’s chest at the same time of impact. He grabbed the Elite by the shoulder, and gripped with unnatural strength, his fingers digging hand holds into the elites body, he spun around, throwing the Elite, sending it sailing through the air. He stepped back into the light advancing on the Elite, his now traditional gold visor was shining brightly, contrasting against his black armor.
Axon: Ten this is not smart...
Tekka watched Shxzalor and laughed. "It is great standing side by side once more, brother" Tekka said and slammed Shxzalor on the shoulder. He looked around outside the building. "So.. Where is those human friends of yours? I bet you are best of buddy with an demon as well" He got an more serious look on his face. "Are you?" he asked and turned to him. He was about to ask serveral more questions but did not wanna throw it all at once. It would make him look wrong. Therefore he just waited for Shxzalor to reply him. Still, he wondered what the situation down here was like, who was here and why? He waited with that untill an better time. He watched the black dressed elite and smiled beneath his helmet. He was happy Shxzalor done well. He also spectated the design of the swords Shxzalor had. "I always liked those" Tekka said and watched at the wrists of the elite.
He walked outside the building and watched sign of something had crashed trough another building. "It seems like I am not the only one having problem finding somewhere to land." He said and turned around to Shxzalor again.
Davaran picks up a radio "Shxzalor.. we have a problem.. that little pelican crashing through a building sent alot of debris through a open garage door, this tank is shot.. its a prototype so alot of the armor wasn't installed.." he stares at his lifes work, shattered under the vail of war.. Keroth looks at him.. "I understand your plight, young one, and.. Your true passion is what you must return to.." davaran realized his almost fame at his pilot acadamy for his skills.. but there was nothing around.. except.. "Keroth, didn't you say, there were vehicles at this base?" keroth replies, "Yes.. along with the possibility of phantoms, and since you asked.. the newest generation gunship transport." Davaran smirks while lifting the radio.. "Shxzalor.. I have an idea.. you send me and keroth to take out this encampment.. and steal their dropship.... it might be a chance for us to turn the tide here." he eagerly awaits a reply.
I would assume, since they had vehicles.. they woulda had a place to store them.. doesn't have to be big or anything.. but obviously there is no possible way I can be right, guess they wait in the shadows for days for a ship that might never arrive.. I guess ignore my last post... ))
Davaran radios Shxzalor, "This tanks busted, any help I could give is now gone.. that pelican crash shook the ceiling down on it.. what the hell do we do now?!"
((The dropships landed BEFORE we arrived. They would know that if a colonly lost contact, we would send ships to investigate. After all, its what happened at Harvest. Dont worry, the ship is tech, you will have all of the RP to rig things up.))
Shxzalor paused, "The communications equipment, lots of your human technology seems to be hopelessly damaged, but with your level of skill perhaps you could cause some miracles." He turned to Tekka "Yes, I am a friend of a Human. They are not demons."
Raevynn stood back up, blood spurted from her shoulder and ran down the length of her armor as she did so. She watched the larger spartan. She was amazed by his strength. He seemed just as strong as the elite he was fighting. This was no SPARTANII.
Raevynn steped towards him and tossed the ignited energy sword in his direction. He looked as if he had the elite where he wanted it. He deserved to finish it off.
Ten grabbed the sword, “I’m a little busy Huon, call the Covenant on the roof top, they have fuel rod guns.” He stopped in front of the Elite and moved to take it out through the heart, but it blocked his sword, using both of its arms, while he pushed with one, finally the Elite’s strength won out, and it shoved him back. Then his visor turned pure cold, there was no black left.
Axon: Ten, you are at max enchancement.
He grinned under his helmet. That was one of the many, mostly bad or disturbing, side effects of the nanites. It made him very aggressive, more prone to ripping things apart. It affected him in a bad way, making him more brutal. When the Elite charged, he grabbed it’s wrist, stopping the sword dead, there was an audible cracking that was the Elite’s wrists, whether it was his bones or armor…or maybe even both, was too hard to tell. He slammed his other fist into the Elite’s chest, the Elite almost doubled over, It’s chest armor had a huge dent in it, that was obviously maiming it’s chest. He let go of the Elite’s wrist, and the sword dropped to the floor. Next, he hit the Elite in the neck, it grabbed at it’s throat while it spurted blood from its mandibles, trying to breath. He kept his hand at the Elite’s neck, and tilted it upwards. His blades shot from the wrist, up into the Elite’s head. It went rigid for a second, and his blades retracted, the Elite dropped, twitching slightly. He looked at the body for a few seconds, then he walked up to the other Spartan, she as almost two feet shorter than he was. Plus his armor was designed for strength, it added more to him as well. “Next time try to do your job.”
huon put the command to the grunts on the top of the building and 3 arcs of fire came down unto the wraith and it was destroyed. Then there were more arcs of fire coming down and much of the attacking force was killed. But more covenant started to come and the fuel rods kept firing while the mrines threw rocks down unto the crowd and disabled some of the enemy.
The fuel rods kept firing but the marines eyed another tank and it started firing. The fuel rod guns still had a large amount of ammo.but huon wondered.....how many covenant would die until they held this tower?Huon threw a large rock and it hit a grunt on the head and it fell unconcious.Huon chuckled and threw more rocks.
He wondered how they would escape...
[]I have a question.....Will there be a big big battle in a city....like the one in halo 2.....ive always wanted to play in one as a marine and fight alongside a whole bunch of other marines.Like 500 marines in one city....I thought the city level in halo 2 was way way to short......dont give away any details or anything like that....or dont even answer it if u want...but if u do all i need is a yes or a no....[]
