1. Dooku. He came out of nowhere in Episode II and kicked some serious ass. All while being portrayed by Christopher Lee who has done IT ALL. Scaramanga in The Man with the Golden Gun, anyone? He also had a voice just as awesome as James Earl Jones (it was Jones who talked, wasn't it?)

Nope. Palpatine was the final word with both. And Palpatine didn't do everything. He answered to Palpatine like Vader answered to Palpatine but Dooku did quite a bit on his own.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Why the **** should Dooku reveal himself as a Sith? Not only would it be strategically stupid (Palpatine and Dooku both are rather intelligent in strategy....) but needlessly boastful. The Jedi had no idea of who the other Sith was after Maul died and shouting "here I am! I'm a Sith!" is retarded.
i think you have to realize that those questions and answers are half jokeful. I could care less what anyone thinks cause people like different characters for different reasons. Vader was the better character, hence the story being about him. had GL thought that Dooku was better, it most likely would of been about him...bro if you like dooku better, more power to you...Im personally a fan of Vader.
And even though a fan of Vader he is, Vader still wins in this fight physically (lightsaber and Force duel).
But in in the topics I mentioned before, it's undecided.

Vader and Tyrannus are each controlling a huge fleet. They are both leading these fleets against each other. Who's battle experience will win the space duel?
This is Dooku in his element. He is them most charasmatic person in SW and has already used his charms to gather half the galaxy to his cause. Dooku reaches the capital and easily convinces the Priminster to join the CIS. All he needs is a small battalion of droidekas and some magnaguards and he will crush whatever forces Vader brings with him.
Well the first round is "diplomacy". I guess we can add an element where CIS and Empire forces battle it out if they dont get control.
Let's say CIS has 10,000 Super-droids and Droidekas and Vader has 10,000 Clone Troopers including Vader's Fist.
However, in diplomacy Vader could threaten the locals.
Also, let's say the settings is like Haruun Kal jungles with the people living in small tree cities like Kashyyk.
SBD are reasonably strong. It takes an array of shots to bring them down. They can also fire extremely fast and have powerful wrist rockets. Droidekas are almost unstoppable. But on the downside the droids dont hace brains and cant properly think for themselves.
The Clone troopers/Vaders Fist are specially trained for combat. They have great tactics, work well as a team and mort importantly can think for themsleves. But they may get simply overwhelmed by the amount of droid fire coming at them.
In terms of getting the locals to side with you it depends. Vader could easily use fear to his advantage. But Dooku is a politician - it is his job to convince people of his cause. Dooku also has a huge amount of wealth to bribe them with. So Vader may be able to scare them into siding with him, Dooku can use his charms and wealth to sway the locals. Im not really sure who would get the victory.
Good points in the last post Ox. Let me share some views though. True, SBD and Destroyer Droids are tough and virtually unstoppable, however, since not having brains, they fight out in the open with no C&C(cover and concealment) whereas the clones, who are trained by Jango and have a small part of his overall know how, can use structures for cover, much like urban warfare. The main problem i see is getting by the Destroyer's shields. I think with enough shots, it would overwhelm the shields.
And yes Dooku has personal wealth, but Vader has virtually limitless funds via th Empire. And while Vader can threaten them, Dooku is very good at getting people to join him. I think that part would boil down to who reaches the King/ Prime minister first. Although Vader could call upon the Deathstar...so i don't know.
Hey Nikkolas, why weren't you so quick to say that this wasn't fair because its a scenario for Dooku? No contest between them is going to be completely fair. Its not supposed to be, Thats how one becomes better, overcoming obstacles and adversities.
But this battle royal is actually really tough. Both have strong points and big weaknesses. Are the droids set up 5000 each, or how are they split up? I think that would be a big factor.
Also Ox, the seer amount of laser fire would be hellatious from the droids, but the 501st or just regular clones, also have rocket launchers and things like that. Do the clones get any walkers or MLRS type weapons, or just blasters?
