Anyway, how about this. Let's say I suddenly turned over to the Dooku side and decided to argue for Tyrannus for a while you fight for Vader. Let's see who wins

I do just as easily as Vader does....so it would be like 4 posts! 😉

All right. I'll start:

Tyrannus wins because:

1.) Force Lightning. Tyrannus has been a Sith for several years by now. His Lightning must be strong. With it, he knocked down AOTC Anakin with a minor blast.

2.) Saber skills. Tyrannus is a master of Makashi, which is made for saber combat. Tyrannus was able to contend with Yoda with Makashi and gave him a difficult fight.

3.) Speed. Tyrannus could contend with Anakin and Yoda, who are both very fast.

Vader loses in Speed and he is weak towards Lightning. One blast of it and he is dead.

Okay, now let's see your rebuttal

Jesus....ok...short but sweet

1. Vader has a saber to block with plus has choke that can work from further away. And you have no way of telling how strong his blast in AOTC was.

2. Vaders style matches more than ok against his and with such a style his speed might not be a usable tool being that Vader will press the attack hard and force Dooku into a defensive stance.

3. speed..see above. Also, Vaders strength can contend with speed. Great power doesn't come with speed so a good shot by Vader and it knocks Dooku out of his rhythm. Also, Vader being slow could be a good thing. If Dooku is going all fast, it could let Vader maintain a defense position and stay still and let Dooku wear himself out then just go off on him.

4. a momentary grip of Vaders choke could easily crush Dooku's throat.

LOL this too boring. I can't give an argument for Dooku because in the end, whatever way it happens, Vader always win. I am only trying to increase the post count.

Yeah, especially with over thirty pages of Vader supporting arguments. Just about every Tyrannus argument has gone through this thread, and none have given correct proof that Dooku wins.

Bullsh*t. Most of those were "OMG Vader is not slow", "Vader will just block the lightning with his hands" and "Dooku is just an above average jedi". There is no way Dooku can lose. Vader lost to ROTJ Luke, Dooku lost to an enraged Anakin. There is no comparison.

What keeps Dooku from just flinging Anakin away in a new fight with the force? If they start like 10m apart, what keeps Dooku from pwning Anakin with the force? It's to late to use it if they are fighting with sabers, cause then Anakin will get the better of him eventually, but if there is a distance between them, what keeps him from pwning Anakin with the force?
