Its not a matter of believing in Christ - I believe Christ existed, because there are evidence that he has and hes a historical figure.
The question you perhaps are asking is whether or not people believe he was divine and/or a prophet of god.
His divinity is questionable, but not his existence.
I also very much admire Jesus - he died a gruesome death for what he believed in and he never renounced it - determanation to be looked up to.
I admire and look up to Jesus - its certain number his ''followers'' that I do not look up to or admire.
What I meant is that I don't believe Jesus was any sort of holy figure -- generally when people refer to him as the Christ, they mean Jesus as a divine figure. Or at least in my experience that's how it always is. And I certainly don't believe he was divine or anything.
Spoony -- I dunno, ask the thread maker. But expect to be lectured via PM if you happen to believe anything differently than he does.
I thought that was one the same - Jesus Christchrist is what his followers put on him thus christians. Christ refers to jesus being the anointed one, the messiah, jesus being divine.
so by calling him jesus christ and then question his divinity well then you have a bit of a contradiction on your hand

Exactly what I said -- referring to him as Christ refers to him as a divine figure.
