Exactly what I said -- referring to him as Christ refers to him as a divine figure.
yeah I saw your post after I posted mine.....of course

And Jesus the son of Joseph...And Jesus brother of James..Or was it James brother of Jesus...Oh well.

It was also fortold that he would die on the cross that his cloths would be gambled for that he would make blind men see and lame beggers walk and all of these things he did just as fortold that he would do. think though it wasn;t jesus that the said would do these things it was the Messiah and Jesus fufilled all of these things thus prooving that he was the Messiah and the Christ

thus prooving that he was the Messiah and the Christ
according to the new testament yes, yet that aint no valid proof. Its all based on faith not facts.

See www.askwhy.co.uk

not true the new testament was written by at least 6 different people over about a perriod of no less than 50 to 60 years by people who lived with christ and saw him do the miracles that he did. that is call facts being written down not faith

the gospels are not second hand Matthew, Mark, Luck, and John all lived with and knew christ that is what one would call first hand

Have any proof of this? And no, you cannot say that the Bible saying so is proof. You cannot use the bible to prove the bible.

people use books to proof books all the time your not thinking about things before you respond Islams use the Kuran to proof the Kuran why cant i use the Bible to proof the Bible

oh yah historians have dated the bible and the people in it to have lived at the times the bible says they lived the bible has been stated by the majority of historians to be the most acurate history ever written

You cannot use something to prove itself, plain and simple. Just because Muslims try to use the Koran to prove te Koran doesn't mean it actually proves anything. That's like saying I can prove the Harry Potter books to be true by stating examples from the Harry Potter books -- it doesn't work like that.

Where is your proof for this statement?

I hope you realize that as long as you continue making these positive statements you WILL be called upon to prove and show evidence for them.

Matthew, Mark, Luck, and John all lived with and knew christ that is what one would call first hand
if they were first hand why do they use 4 when one would be enough. Further more if they all were first hand why do they contradict each other?

just think that both these figures of faith has become too important aspects without being proven to be real

says they lived the bible has been stated by the majority of historians to be the most acurate history ever written
most people figured in the biblical stories can not be historical proven

Its not a matter of believing in Christ - I believe Christ existed, because there are evidence that he has and hes a historical figure.

The question you perhaps are asking is whether or not people believe he was divine and/or a prophet of god.

His divinity is questionable, but not his existence.

I also very much admire Jesus - he died a gruesome death for what he believed in and he never renounced it - determanation to be looked up to.

I admire and look up to Jesus - its certain number his ''followers'' that I do not look up to or admire.

Check out this link:

It will give you some insight regarding the whole Christ issue. Frontline did a great research on Jesus Christ and his beginings. Another reason why PBS is one the best things tv offers. 😉

Jesus as a Man> Perhaps.
Christ the Massiach> No.

No longer do we live in a society were the word has value.

"O wicked the generation that request a sign."

Or maybe we live in a society that is learning to throw off the shackles of forced religion and to think for itself.

I do not believe in Christ because I do not believe in fairy tales.
