"Tapes Depict Proposal to Thwart
Bomb Used in Trade Center Blast"

By Ralph Blumenthal

Law-enforcement officials were told that terrorists were building
a bomb that was eventually used to blow up the World Trade Center,
and they planned to thwart the plotters by secretly substituting
harmless powder for the explosives, an informer said after
the blast.

The informer was to have helped the plotters build the bomb
and supply the fake powder, but the plan was called off by
an F.B.I. supervisor who had other ideas about how the informer,
Emad Salem, should be used, the informer said.

The account, which is given in the transcript of hundreds of
hours of tape recordings that Mr. Salem secretly made of his
talks with law-enforcement agents, portrays the authorities as
being in a far better position than previously known to foil
the February 26th bombing of New York City's tallest towers.

The explosion left six people dead, more than a thousand people
injured, and damages in excess of half-a-billion dollars.
Four men are now on trial in Manhattan Federal Court
[on charges of involvement] in that attack.

Mr. Salem, a 43-year-old former Egyptian Army officer, was used
by the Government [of the United States] to penetrate a circle
of Muslim extremists who are now charged in two bombing cases:
the World Trade Center attack, and a foiled plot to destroy
the United Nations, the Hudson River tunnels, and other
New York City landmarks. He is the crucial witness in the
second bombing case, but his work for the Government was
erratic, and for months before the World Trade Center blast,
he was feuding with th F.B.I.

Supervisor `Messed It Up'

After the bombing, he resumed his undercover work. In an
undated transcript of a conversation from that period,
Mr. Salem recounts a talk he had had earlier with an agent
about an unnamed F.B.I. supervisor who, he said,

"came and messed it up."
"He requested to meet me in the hotel,"

Mr. Salem says of the supervisor.

"He requested to make me to testify, and if he didn't
push for that, we'll be going building the bomb with
a phony powder, and grabbing the people who was
involved in it. But since you, we didn't do that."

The transcript quotes Mr. Salem as saying that he wanted to
complain to F.B.I. Headquarters in Washington about the
Bureau's failure to stop the bombing, but was dissuaded by
an agent identified as John Anticev.

Mr. Salem said Mr. Anticev had told him,

"He said, I don't think that the New York people would
like the things out of the New York Office to go to
Washington, D.C."

Another agent, identified as Nancy Floyd, does not dispute
Mr. Salem's account, but rather, appears to agree with it,
saying of the `New York people':

"Well, of course not, because they don't want to
get their butts chewed."

like the FBI shot JFK. Or something.

your close. It was actually The CIA that orchastrated it and pulled it off. When the House select committee on assassinations was winding down its investigation towards the end,a couple of CIA operatives came forward and said -we did it,where do you want to go with this thing? Of course since it was the government investigating the case, they had no intention of trying to find out who REALLY did it and they concluded that it was probably the mafia and that they were unable to locate some of the hitmen. It was pretty much the government investigating themselves and of course they are not going to investigate themselves and say-we did it.so again thats an almost accurate statement. It was The CIA but the FBI covered it up and made a mess of the investigation and never investigated anything.

I don't think they're afraid, They think conspiracy theorist are crazy 😆 I don't blame them the way the media portrays them, As obsessive people that think "aliens from mars are gonna conquer the earth and landed in area 51" They are always labeled as mentally ill or paranoid. it's a control mechanism any alternative to society's norm is antagonized or neglected until it either confroms or is destroyed. if you resist your antagonized until you confom or go crazy. In society one must always fit into a label because labels are constructs for control.

He deserves no credit. He copy and pastes everything and is unable to defend or illuminate his positions on his own. Not to mention he takes everything at face value that Icke says (a man who believes interdimensional, shapeshifting reptiles run the world) and post trash like this:

Hi! My name is John Kerry. I’m a democrat. COMPLETELY different to George Bush. BUT, I am also a member of the the secret society, Skull and Bones. Sure, its deeply satanic, but no one cares. Go and watch tv and remember to support my good friend, George Bush!

Hi, I am the puppeteer, I control both the Republicans AND the Democrats. They are two sides of the same coin. I like to play mind games, and leave symbols everywhere. Such as the Pyramid, The all Seeing eye and the moloch owl. Why don’t you take a look at the Dollar Bill and see it there.

Hi, Tony here. I often go to secret meetings with such people as the Rothschilds and bilderbergers. I am here to make the UK a policed state, to STOP public enquiries into the 07/07 London Bombings (333 days before 06/06/06) and to make the European Union a massive super state as we step into the New World Order. Im a 33rd degree Freemason, a secret society which worships the Moloch and is Satanic.

Hi, My name is David Cameron, I am in complete opposition to Tony Blair, YET, we both agree on the same policies. Lets make this a policed state. My symbol is of course, THE PYRAMID! Yes, I am also related, directly, to the Queen. Where are you Ma’am?

Bow before me, I am the Queen of England and the GRAND MASTER OF FREEMASONRY. My family stems from Germany but just before the MANIPULATED WAR against Germany in 1914, we changed our name to WINDSOR just to make sure you idiots did not twig onto the fact that we are screwing you over.

Hail Hitler! I am Adolf. I am into military dictatorship, the centralization of power and concentration camps. I spent 2 years in England upto 1912 being indoctrinated by the British powers (as my sister wrote in her book) I took weapons away German citizens in a Tyrannal DICTATORSHIP. Do you wonder why there were THOUSANDS of reports of NAZI U-Boats spotted after the Second World War?? Its because we have bases in Norway and Antartic, hence the interest in the Falklands. Now go and conquer in the name of the mother land, SCHNELL!

Greetings from the motherland. I am Stalin. I am the opposite to Adolf Hitler. I am into military dictatorship, the centralization of power and concentration camps. Just like Adolf. But we tell you we are different, so you will fight in wars for us. I have been called Hitlers twin tyrant. I too studied in England in 1907 where I was indoctrinated by British intelligence agencies. I helped kill millions.

Thanks for posting that link Lord, there is for sure a lot of eye opening material in there that Bush is defenetely not for us.I have said it bfore but I'll say it again.I did not think it was possible for us to get a president who would be worse than Clinton because of all the long line of people that were closse associates of his who died under mysterious circumstances, but Bush is.That link proves he is for sure at least one of the top 3 or so worst presidents ever.Clinton and Nixon give him a run for his money.

I think there is value in conspiracey theories, but I think there is no value to people who believe that everything is a conspiracey.

Lame ducks like Deano and Parker rant on about stuff that is so ridiculous that most people and the media ignore much more conspiracey related issues.

Then deano should just stop copying and pasting,David Icke is not bad but what he said about Freemasons being satan worshipers is wrong, I saw a documentary on Freemasonry on the history channel, people think it's related to satan because Albert pike mentions Lucifer as one of his beliefs. Lucifer has nothing to do with the Christians.

I wacth the news frequently, and despite the fact I trust my source I do question it. The general media tends to twist things out of context or leave things out(I just posted an example). I don't distrust the media but I know many things are filtered, it would be obserd to believe all their inforamtion they present is true so that's why I read alternative news; too compliment the main stream media.

David Icke is a waste of oxygen and a nut. Anyone who believes anything he says is also a nut. The misunderstanding about freemasons is another ridiculous waste of time by die-hard conspiracey theorists.

yeah the media and people such as Bush and John Ashcroft lable them as conspiracy nuts if you dont not blindly accepting their obvious lies and when you point out the evidence that it leads to them, then natually they use the power of the media-which is just a tool for government agencys to make you out like they are paranoid delusionists who think things like aliens are gonna conquer the world and that kind of junk.God forbid having people who can think for themselves in their society and for wanting to see the REAL terrorists,Bush,Cheney and others put behind bars.

Conspiracy theories have been confirmed before

Here are some:

1. the founding fathers of the United States were Freemasons ( Confirmed by history channel)

2. The streets of washington form masonic symbols (With the exception of the inverted pentagram, confirmed by history channel)

You're an idiot. Truly, do you read any threads or posts outside this one?

Did you see my thread on Condi Rice that I started just today?

I not only can handle the truth, I actively seek it instead of hiding behind deluded stories made p by pathetic misfits.

As were many (if not most) men of position at that time.

If they lack an element that would make them masonic symbols, then perhaps it is just a consequence.

What is your point? How are these conspiracey theories anyway?

Alternative news and history is labeled as conspiracy
s, I never learned they were freemasons in highschool.

A conspiracy is the act of one or more people who intentionally hide or misdirect or perform illegal, wrongful, or subversive acts.

Historians not taking note of certain facts is not a conspiracey unless it was done for a reason.

Most men of position were freemasons back in the day, it may not have been noted, because it was not that big of deal. Being a mason is not a secretive act, most mason where rings or even have decals on their cars to proclaim their affiliation.

I ask again, where is the conspiracey? My point is that people find conspiracies where there are none. By making a big deal out of such instances they put up a buffer in front of actual conspracies that have value in investigating.

I think our founding fathers being Freemasons not taught in school is BS, or the column I posted not making front page.

Here's an example from your thread:

The answer is because people don't question, they just accept whatever BS is thrown at them.
