To be honest after seeing the Transporter, with a bit of Queen's english instruction I feel Jason Statham would make a cracking Bond, he has the presence and the toughness to carry on where Pierce will leave off, the cahracter needs to keep that tough edge he's aquired sinced Licence to Kill, although I'm sure I'll be in the minority.

I suppose we could get another Aussie (Eric Bana maybe?) but you never can tell with Eon pictures what they will pull out of the bag...

55 is still to old , i think the bond charecter is like a 40 plus year old aging guy. Jeremy Irons is a good actor but his a bit to aged for Bond i think, Ralph Finnes is a good actor but a little more on the dramtic side ( i guess u could say that about PB as well as he takes on new roles!)
I honestly think Hugh Jackman would be the best contender for now, good looks as well as that naughty boyish charm that the bond charecter has. Didnt i hear once of that british singer, Robbie Williams wanting to be Bond??? I also thought i heard of that they thought of making the Bond charecter gay as well ( no offense but i like the idea of bond with gorgeous women then men ! 🙂 )

Unfortunatly i doubt Hugh Jackman can ever get the part, he is an aussie and not a brit. What if they cast an unknown!?

So. Not every bond was english. Its all the same. Its just an accent thing!

Hmm all the Bonds were english, as in they were all part of Great Britian, and i think thats the main criteria that bond must be from the UK
