Magneto vs The Hulk

This was more feasible when everybody said Hulk would bonk Hulk and just leave because he was above the fight.

I say he just rams a steel girder through hulk's stomache and out through his spine when he jumps at him, but hey, thats just me.

class 100 strength he can shove whatever the hell he wants through hulk. Wolvie sliced him wide open with less then class 1, so im pretty sure mags can shove a girder through him.

magneto does not have class 100 strength...he can imitate class 100 strength with his powers...why would u bring up wolverine?...his claws acn cut through virtually anything as long as its not adamantium, energy proected, or has geometrically increased density

Since magneto has control of the Earth's natural magnetic fields he can use it to further enhnace his abilites.also since his control acts like sort of telekinesis he can have an effect on objects the same way sue richards does when she bends her psionic fields around objects to levitate them, but with magneto it would be electromagnetism so his arsenal isnt just limited to steel girders and the like. Sooooo along with a bunch of steel girders how about a few dozen giant boulders, wrapped in EM bubbles,. or does the hulk have special cant be hurt by big giant boulders no matter how fast they're going how big or how many of them there are powers too?

and lastly, i can guarantee you that magneto could harness the Earths magnetic forces plus the ones he can artifically create to lift that 150 billion ton mounatin too

So wolverine who can move what four, five hundred pounds can cut hulk because he's made of adamantium, but Mags, who can move thousands of tons, and completely destroy, adamantium if he wants can't cut him? That is just rediculous. That is like comparing an infant with a razor to a body builder with a butter knife, and I for one would much rather take on the infant.

When's the last time Wolverine did anything that wasn't purely to make him look cool?

If this was a game, Magneto would be broken. By this i mean that being able to control magnetic fields, even though back in the 60's nobody really realised what that meant and thought that moving cars and metal objects was cool, we now realise today that its boderline omnipotent. Why, if he can just control anyones body, as one of you stated before, is he still fighting the X-Men? He stoped them all before to...speak to them? What the hell is that? Is it fun to read? to see that over 40 years of comic writting, of X-Men vs Magneto was in fact just a joke? That in the end he COULD HAVE just froze everyone and get rid of them just like that? Hell, your gonna tell me hes not a killer? just encase everyone on earth in big metal boxes... maybe someone can update me on the subject, im not a big X-men Fan.

Whats the point of creating a character so powerful? Might as well make up a character like Q in Star Trek and destroy whatever credibility Marvel has left after Magneto.

K then, my vote goes for Magneto, he can beat anyone on earth, even combined, even with the help of all known alien races of the Marvel universe...oh yeah, combined as well...

Makes watching Wolverine look cool dancing around fighting bad guys seem trivial and pointless.

well this is really just speculation, but if you look over the X-men world carefully, I believe that Magneto was probably Stan Lee's favorite character. I think that he actually was meant to be god-like; that made it more fun, not completly believeable, but more fun to watch the X-men find unique ways to defeat him. I also believe that is why Magneto believes like he does, by this I mean that he believes: mutants should prosper and rule the planet. He does not believe that only his small group of mutants should rule the planet. This makes it difficult for him to kill other mutants who oppose him, b/c he believes that once he is finally victorious that all the mutants will see how brilliant he was all along and will want to join sides with him. This is also probably why he and Charles were written as old best friends; b/c regardless of his compassion for mutants, if the same group of mutants constantly spoiled his plans, he would try to kill them. ANd we all know that this is not the case; he never tries to kill the X-men or Charles. These were all very clever way of the making the unbelieveable (that Magneto could be defeated) believeable.

Magneto vs. Hulk

Hulk can't beat Magneto cause Magneto can fly. Magneto just avoids Hulk in the air until Hulk turns back into puny human Banner. Then Magneto tears Banner's head off.

Magneto wins.

Then again, in a slugfest, its obvious who the winner would be. One well placed clap of his hands and Magneto is turned to Jelly.

Hulk wins.

You people keep thinking that its simple enought to say "So and So vs. This person" who would win. Its never that simple. There are so many factors that go into fights that aren't specified. This battle could obviously have either one of the fighters win, so there is really no point for this thread.

magneto wins cuz he can fly? this is Jack of Hearts...he flies around space with guys like silver surfer and air walker...he has actually managed to hurt Tyrant he is so powerful...he can certainly fly better than magneto but its not doing him any good here.
