Death Penalty

i may have said that a bit wrong i am sorry.but i still think its wrong

I am for the death penalty.

Why is wanting justice barbaric? By justice I mean eye for an eye…Damn right I want justice if gawd forbid something would happen to my 4 year old son and if it was by the hand of someone who had previous assaults/prison sentences and who probably assaults 80 year old ladies and 3 year old kids years before….damn right I want to see blood, the CRIMINALS blood…JUSTICE there has to be justice somewhere sometime…So when will it end for them(criminals). We hold their hands all the way to prison, feed them, give them clean clothes, pump them up(weight rooms are no longer in SOME prisons but others still have this for their RECREATIONAL enjoyment), we give them standard medical insurance because gawd forbid they die in prison from something like alcoholic cirrhosis, or AIDS obtained by IV drug use (hell in the united states an estimated 15.6 percent of the population or nearly 45 million people, were without health insurance coverage in 2003, but sha-hit if they went and committed a crime bam HEALTH INSURANCE) How nice for those damn Criminals no wonder there are so many offenders and so many repeat offenders; Prison is the Hyatt with health insurance. There are also corrupt correctional officers who bring booze and drugs in for the prisoners leisure enjoyment so all in all when their short sentence for killing or raping Grandma Gracie is done the CRIMINAL is well fed, pumped up, groomed and out & about thinking “that was easy and maybe just maybe I can get away with it NEXT time but if not…hell prison wasn’t so bad.” JUSTICE I want JUSTICE.

And to say the death penalty is non-effective and there is no decrease in crime is only half true. That statement itself is black and white…Lets not clump all crimes, murders, and serious offenses all together. Homicide offenders aren’t always sober, when a person is drunk or under the influence of a narcotic I don’t think the death penalty/incarceration is on their minds during a crime. I read a while back that 72% of the homicide offenders were under the influence of alcohol during the crime, 4% were under the influence of drugs (including psycho pharmaceutics). One in four offenders (24 %) were sober. Saying the death penalty is non-effective is an incorrect statement. Folks under the influence do repulsive things. I have read frightening cases of what people do who are under the influence, and they are sure as hell not thinking of the consequences. I believe in the death penalty and if it gets certain folks off the streets but continues with others then so be it…. unfortunately drugs/alcohol mixed with an unstable human being will always be plentiful in this world so the crime rate in “death penalty states” will always be increasing or at a plateau. Criminals like that need to be executed period. If one has an addiction that is not my problem…he/she probably “graduated” from numerous rehab facilities through court conviction so folks like that had their chance(s).

I think what people should look at instead of how the death penalty is non effective, they should look at how many ex-cons truly turn for the good such as rapist, child-molesters, murders, etc…What’s that percentage? But how accurate is that as well…those ex-cons may be getting away with “murder”.

Even animals protect their young such as a mother lion with her cubs; will she not attack or even kill the intruder/hunter/other carnivore? …Someone better tell her that is wrong…right?

😒

and its all tied up

im not in favour of it....i like britains laws

Thank you WindDancer.

All threads are merged. Please keep this civil, so it doesnt get closed, since one thread already has.

Glad to help. 😊

[note] I've said quite a few times already in these threads. The dead penalty is fair and the justice system decides who get's executed and who get's life in prison.

So yes, I support the death penalty.

Oh, guess what, you want an eye for an eye, dont you?! 😱

Well then the family of a person you kill on the death row has the right to kill you or your familly just the same!

Eye for an eye!

not technically. If the person on death row had killed a member of his family, then that person would be killed. It would end there. One death for another, otherwise it would be a neverending cycle of death. death fun😐

No. Thats rather rediculous actually and very naive. Revenge never ends, i thought that was a widely known fact 🤨

A family member on a death row as just as much right to kill the person who sent them there. The family member of the killer has nothing to do with his/hers crimes, but everything to do with loving that person.

So, yeah, they have every right.

Murder is not justice

Lil, your eye for an eye retalioation is exactly right 😊

I see that point of view as well. If an inmate kills a victim then the family of the victim should kill the inmate. So in a way eye for an eye makes sense. But since we no longer live in those times. Our judicial system determines whether the inmate gets the death sentence.

So, unlike the victim the inmate gets to plead for his life in front of a judge. The victim didn't get that opportunity when she/he was getting murder.

an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind

not if your one of the ones not taking other peoples eye's

LOL

think of the eye patch salesman their lovin this

what if they are proven innocent after they've been executed?

Thats beyond true ✅

Basically you are saying if I would kill and rape someone I should go to my room and have a FEW things taken away from me for a couple of years right, because that is what prison is! It’s A hunch of grown ass men or women setting in their cells waiting for momma (the system) to let them “out and play”(kill again). That is what prison is like and that is why some don’t care where you send them THEY WILL ADJUST.

I grew up in the ghetto I saw with my own EYE’s what some these scumbags do and what they will never stop doing. Only way these folks stop doing violent crimes is if they ARE shot DEAD or incarcerated in DEATHROW never to do sha-hit like that again. That is the only life they know and the only life they will ever know. They aren’t worth any of my tax dollars to be sent to their “rooms” studying and mastering how to kill better next time, because that is also what prison is good for …there is never a shortage of scumbags in prison who are better murders or rapist, and teach their the trick of the trade.

If we lived in a perfect world hell yea death row would be wrong but we don’t. Maybe you can hold your rapists or murderer’s hand all the way to prison because in your perfect world they GET BETTER, they are rehabilitated, but not me I prefer to see mine 6 feet under. And maybe you can live with thinking in 3 or 4 years when they get out for good behavior they might just might visit you again but I CAN NOT AND WILL NOT…EYE FOR AN EYE …. And if there family wants some of me …they can come get it because trespassing into my property is enough cause for perfecting me and my “CUBS”!

And to say there is no difference in murder and execution NOW THAT IS RIDICULOUS…seeing the words MURDER and execution seems to black and white but if there were faces with those words people would view it differently…
Murder: is an 8 year old boy coming home from baseball practice pushed into a nearby restroom sodemized and killed by a parole. Execution: is Joe Some who is a repeat sex offender/murder who rapes and kills 75 year old ladies, and 9 year old girls then finishes it up by dumping their bodies at the nearest river…HMM I SEE A DIFFERENCE HOW ABOUT YOU ????
😒

You obviously dont know a first thing about the prison system, so im not going to even bother with that.

Second of all, my point is exactly right. Its you who wants an eye for an eye, well...in that case, you should be prepared to be killed yourself!

AS mentioned before, family member of a killer has nothing to do with that persons crimes, but only with loving that person, a person YOU sentaced to death, therefore by your logic, a family member or a friend should kill you or your family member.

No, all i see in your replies is an urge for revenge! Revenge and Justice are not the same, in case you didnt know.

America - the only industrialised country which still practices death penalty! Tell me something, even though your ever so great death penalty is still in paractice, i dont see any improvemnt in crime rates in America, DO YOU?

Death penalty is barbaric, native and its shameful.

Gang members have proven time after time that they are willing to kill and die for their gang. Here on Los Angeles there is always cases of drive by shootings! Innocent ppl died! including old folks and children. What happens when these gang members get caugth? They get life in prison. That's why the 3 strikes laws was pass. Because ppl were getting tired of these thugs killing ppl on the streets, then going to jail hang around with their buddies, and then getting parol. After getting parole and release They went back to the streets to commit more shootings and selling drugs. Now that is far more sickening than the death penalty. Allowing these thugs to continue their murdering ways. Heck, just executed them. No point in throwing them back in jail.

And whos fault is that WidnDancer? In America, a school children can get hold of guns.

You want to execute them all? Well you are supporting the exactly the same thing you are trying to prevent - a murders.

Like I said before, you have death penalty in America, but you know, i dont see many people being scared of it. In fact all i see is more and more murders and brutality.

Some people need help, not to get murdered! Yes, im aware that the families of that person suffer, but so do millions arround the world.

Marilyn Manson said it best: ''Death of one is a tragedy, death of millions just a statistic.''
