hey you know the Chinease gave LSD to it's soldiers at lethal dosages. the U.s was smart and gave it to them in small doses 🙂 anyway, why not just leagalize drugs, that would take care of our poulation problem. Granted for the first 5-10 years it wouldnt be a very pleasant or rational world, but after that period of time. we would have plenty of room, and be at a decent level of peace. Them chinease are funny when they drop acid.

That hardly seems fair, going to hell even if you are innocent. What a kick in the nuts that would be.Bob:
"Hey, what is this? Hell?"
Satan: "Oh yes."
Bob: "But I'm innocent! I haven't done anything wrong!"
Satan: "Oh that doesn't matter. Jesus decided to send you here anyway."
Bob: "For what??"
Satan: "Oh, you weren't sure if he was the Son of God. Now you will spend eternity suffering, with me! Don't worry, most of your friends will be dropping by."
Bob: "Goddamnit!"
Satan: "Mm mm. That's going on your permanent record. Let's go start you off in the Iron Maiden"
Hmmm so saying a person is innocent is saying they are a christian now? 😉

Now, let me ask you this. Are you willing to pay for a murderer inmate meals? How about his clothes? How about his gym (yes! prisons do have physical exercise equipment)? How about his counseling? How about the electricity with which they use to keep the cells lighted? If you pay taxes some of that money go to those programs. Since you don't want to execute them then they get to live in prison for the rest of their lives. That's quite a long time for a prisoner to live off a citizens tax money.
BF> 👆 I know exactly what you mean, but i still am against capital punishment as a system of justice... because i believe there are other ways in todays society.
WindDancer> I cant see your point whatsoever! Am I willing to pay for inmates clothes and food? I, or you rather DO NOT HAVE A CHOICE on that 😱 its called Taxing.
And if you think by exectuting the prisoners is gonna lower your taxes...you are grossly deluded.

Apparently you can't comprehend what you read. I said IF the innocent man is NOT Christian, he's going to hell, according to Christian beliefs. If the innocent man IS Christian, he goes to heaven. How is that fair?
Anyway, there are other threads for religious debates.
P.S. That stupid winky smilie makes you seem arrogant when you are right, and foolish when you are wrong. In this case, just foolish.

My point plain and simple: Death penalty stops a murderer from killing again. There, is as simple as that. You clearly said you understand the point, yet you're agaisn't the death penalty. Fine, no one is trying to change your mind.
Also, is not about lowering my taxes. Is about not supporting those convicts at all! The money the government takes from our taxes to pay for the lifestyle of those murderers is plain stupid! Execute them and no more tax money is wasted on them.
I much rather prefer the government use the tax money to help improve and beautified the city. That isn't happening! Some of the tax money goes to support those inmates in death row. Screw that! Execute those parasites living off some else's tax money.
Yes, I don't have a choice with what the government does with my taxes. But I most defetenly prefer they would use that money for something much better. Unfortunally, that's not case those murdering convicts are eating and living out of the tax payers money. Is just plain sick!
Read the basics:

In the United States, prisons are funded and operated through state and federal taxes. The Federal Bureau of Prisons oversees all prisons and other facilities designed to incarcerate individuals convicted of violating federal laws. Some facilities operated by the federal government accommodate prisoners who have physical or mental ailments and are more like hospitals. In 1998 there were 93 federal institutions for the incarceration of criminals. In that same year the 50 U.S. states operated 1,430 state prisons. State prisons house inmates who have been convicted of violating state criminal laws.
Offenders who violate both state and federal laws may be prosecuted by either state or federal officials, or both. There is no special protocol that determines whether the federal or state judicial system will move first to charge and adjudicate the offender. Typically, if one level of government convicts and imprisons an offender, the other level of government will not pursue charges. For example, in 1997 a jury convicted Timothy McVeigh for murder under federal law for 167 deaths resulting from the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Oklahoma could also charge McVeigh for murder under state law. However, unless McVeigh’s federal conviction is overturned, there is no need for a state trial.

BF> ok, lets say you are right, so let me ask you again, if the death penalty is so effective, why does America have the highest crime rate in the industralised world?
If killing people to prevenet other murders, why are there still people killed, muged and raped in America daily?
