Honestly, if you could, would you stop crime by imposing the death penalty for every infraction, big or small?

Does the death penalty stop crime even now?

And by every infraction, big or small...on my home, I was driving five or so mph over the speed limit, does this net me a death sentence?

I don't agree with it to start.

Don't you only get the penalty if you killed some one yourself ?

REsearch has proven numerous times that Death Penalty does not stop crime.

If that was the case, USA would have the lowest crime rate in the world. Oddly, it has one of the highest.

Ah but who do we actually put to death? Takes years for a death penalty to be carried out alot of the time. Hence it's not much of a deterrent.
