You described yourself to a T. It was a probe using warp drives to travel through hyperspace as explained. No amount of BS would change it.

Hahaha.

His mode of engaging is failing to respond to an energy blast and throwing mjolnir. You might as well give every space character FTL combat speed if that's your standard.

So how does this change the fact that we saw Skuttlebutt fly at speeds far faster then light with no mention of hyperspace?

And all Superman did was blast Wonder Woman with heat vision while moving at extreme speeds. When he punched her, they had already stopped moving etc. You can make all the excuses you want, it doesn't matter, all of it is easily applicable to the scene you referenced. I chose my two examples for that reason. 🙂

And at 100 times faster than that speed, he failed to responds to an energy blast. Good point proving that Thor's flight speed>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>his reflex speed.

And actively choking her with his two hands.

Your examples suck. Like you.

Serious question. Why do you discredit every scan that is shown to you? Trying to understand why can't admit when you're wrong. Rage clearly shown a pic of Skuttlebucket going FTL, its even saying it in the scan but you add your own intake on something that was never mentioned.

How fast skuttlebucket was passing stars during the Bill fight is proof they were fighting at FTL.

Basically, Superman can dance around the Hulk, but it would have to require effort and not something he can do indefinitely without being hit by Banner.
Yes, he could. Even at 0.01 of Superman's actual combat speed and perception,, Hulk is virtually a statue. Even if Hulk would suddenly show a quantifiable level of superspeed of, say, the speed of sound, he'd still be a statue to Superman.

I don't think you can [or want to] understand the difference between being a lightspeedster, and having low level superspeed [like Waid has been pushing Hulk]. It's worse than the difference between a snail and a F1 car.

In a forum setting where they fight to the best of their abilities, but are still in character, Hulk will get hits in.
At the very least, Clark will eat a thunderclap or two.

Unless the statement "best of their abilities but still in character" is Superman being legitimately retarded and forgetting that he can dodge and move at speed Hulk can't fire a synapse at, then no, Hulk won't get hits it.

Let me put it this way:
You're walking down the street.
A very angry tortoise is coming at you, 10 meters away, eager to bite your penis off.
Will you forget that you are much faster than it, and stay there, moving in what is slow motion to you, allowing it to bite you? (i.e. are you incredibly dumb?)
The answer is no.

The forum is not a 'story mode', where the plot dictates the powers and not the other way around [unless it happens to be written by Jeph Loeb or Greg Pak]. This is just strictly about the characters and their powers, in a purely battle setting.

Lets forget about 98% of the time Superman is being hit in comics and focus on the make believe.

So ure telling me Clark is ALWAYS in blitz mode when he is in a serious fight? I'm talking about fights that involved lives? Better yet he might as well go in blitz mode all the time. I mean if it's serious shouldn't he just outspeed all dangerous opponents every single time?

Like I said, he will use blitz since it is in character for him to do so. But he will not go unscathed.

Anyways, prolly going with Clark here. Has more options like BFR.

Where have I discredited anything? Also where was it said that skuttlebutt was going FTL?

Haha, what? Skuttlebutt took minutes to go to the planet when it was already near it previously. It crossed no stars.

This isn't a comic where the characters forget their powers. Its a forum where the characters would "use their abilities to best in character" means if Superman has shown to blitz characters in character, he can do that untill hulk goes down. He wouldn't stop after a few punches so that hulk would punch him.

No, because the plot doesn't allow him to. Plot comes first, in comics. Even when it makes the character look really dumb. In this case, anyone with superspeed.

Superman, Wonder Woman, Flashes, Captain Marvel, Gladiator, Sentry, etc. What do they all have in common? The fact that they're all retarded and don' know even basic things like "I'm too fast for the other guy to hit, so I better move"? No. It's that superspeed is a virtually unbeatable power, so they can't use it due to plot reasons.

On the forums, we don't write stories. We aren't careful and spare other characters (like Hulk) humiliating beatdowns, due to plot demands and fanbase, and his lack of specific high-end abilities.

And that's why he will always lose to Superman.

Hulk is too one-dimensional for Superman. Takes the usual jobbing/retardness for the gammatard to pull the win.

LOL at one dimensional.

Excellent posting! You are doing far better than I can ever dream of.

Luckily you don't write comics and historically, my stances is far more likely of occurring then yours. 🙂

So now we've gone from denying the evidence to lowballing? Okay, at least we're making progress. Thor was hit once and not again, it's called being taken off guard. Thor has faster then light combat speed now I guess. 🙂

Choking someone while flying is evidence of faster then light combat speed? 😂 So is it safe to say that Thor has faster then light combat speed because he's able to clutch Mjolnir's strap while flying?

I mean, are you even thinking your examples through? It's just retarded. He was holding on from before he broke the sound barrier on Earth.

If I'd write comics, I also wouldn't write Superman speedblitzing Hulk in a one-sided battle, not only because I respect Hulk enough not to humiliate him like that, but also because the editors [and higher-ups] sure as hell wouldn't let me.

That's not the point. Try to be a little more astute.

The point is that the forums aren't limited by the comic book plot constraints.
