and yeah...you're being materialistic again. Try something you can't buy in a store.
What about your anger. Someone has just killed your family, and you are filled with an ungodly amount of rage. Murderous rage. I don't know of any hate stores.
What kind of novels do you write?
Anger is a human emotion. It is part of our free will. God allows us those negative emotions so that we may also feel positive emotions. It helps us to know right from wrong.
Free will gives you the right to question it. So enjoy...you have it whether you believe in it or not. Kinda like imagination...it's there, but you can't see it...you just have it.
I write Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Romance. Sometimes all three in one.

Once again, free will is debatable. Maybe you were supposed to be wherever you are right now, thinking whatever you are thinking right now, having this conversation with me right now. Imagination does have proof. Anything you are looking at this moment was probably the result of someone's imagination taking a concept and stretching it.
Cool. Are you like a full-time author, or is it a hobby?
Objects do not prove God. Everything on the Earth then would be proof. But as you said, not everyone believes in God. Therefore, there is no argument to prove if He is or is not. So using objects and emotions are the same thing to someone who does not believe. So what difference would it make?
And yes, there is a plan for each person. Different paths are presented to each person throughout their lives...such as homosexuality...taking drugs...going to college...whatever. These are presented to you. Do you take them? Yes or no. The answer is up to you. It is your choice. Then, once you have made your choice, another choice is given to you. Do you choose yes or no? It's up to you. It's your choice. Do you end up where God wants you? If you believe in God. No, we don't always end up where we are destined to end up. WE have made choices that have led us astray. Astray from what? Well, that is up to you isn't it.
My point is...we have free will. Free will is the ability to choose what you want to do with the path you have been given. Some challenges are meant for us to experience...so no matter the choice, some tests will come to us no matter what. There are just some things in this life that some of us must face to make us better people. It prepares us for the road ahead.
And it's just a hobby. I haven't had the guts to go pro, but I get raves over my work when I post it online. Maybe evenutally. For now...and likely for quite some time...I'm working to be a Primatologist.

You say only the situations are presented. What if it were predetermined that you were to "choose" the actions you take in said situations?
Ah. I understand. You have to go with the more secure choice eh? Life is harsh that way sometimes. You may have to give up a dream to actually make it in the world you know? It kinda sucks. Don't you sometimes wish you could go do everything you ever wanted to?
When did you find out you wanted to be a primatologist? I mean, I have always liked animals, but I never liked monkeys or apes(excluding humans). What do you find interesting about them?
Oh and Good night. I am off to slumber.
