What are you trying to prove, that you can name games? Want a medal?
Half the ones you are listing are not PS3 exclusive!
Hence, they are hurting your argument more than helping it!

5 of those 7 will be on 360. 🙄
Wii: Mario Galaxy, Metroid, Smash Bros, No More Heroes, Resident Evil, Sonic and the Secret Rings.
360: MASS EFFECT, Halo, Forza, Crackdown, future Gears of War, BioShock.
PS3: Metal Gear 4(not 5 🙄 )

There's talk that Warhawk will be only exclusive multiplayer game only for download....which would mean that it sucked and publishers are cutting thier losses.
Oh, and Virtua Fighter 5 is on the XBOX 360 also and they'res rumours flying around that its going to be vastly improved with better training, some online content (like fighting online) and other things that were wrong with the PS3 version. So pretty much its going to resemble the vastly superior arcade version for the 360.
As of right now, PS3 has very few exclusives and the majority of them are not guarentee's that they will be great. They might, they might not.
And Innerrise, come on, its almost impossible to pick up an Wii. Heck, the majority of Southern Ontario is flat out dry in Wii stocks.

They are predicting the future not the present. Right now the wii is making a killing but the novelty effect of the wii will ware off and then everyone will see the wii for what it is a gamecube with a new controller. Not saying that’s a bad thing I'm going to buy a wii myself but I am also going to buy a ps3 because it has the most potential of all systems and down the road the ps3 will start to unlock its potential.
But right now there is nothing out to make anyone buy a PS3 that is why they are sitting on shelves. 2 good games will make very few buy a 600 dolor system.
people are predicting a PS3 victory in the long run for many reasons, the system is more advanced, blu-ray isn't looking like it's going to loose the hd format battle, Sony has ruled the console world for over a 10 years, and a few other reasons.
Sony has many more exclusives that will be coming out more than a year from now. Namco, Konami, atlus, level5, NIS, Hudson, Gust, and many others are developing exclusive RPG's for the ps3. They won’t be out until a few years down the road but they will be exclusively for PS3.
The RPG developers won’t flock over to the xbox360 because the biggest market for RPG’s is Japan and we all know how well the xbox360 is doing in Japan.
It is going to take 2 or 3 years before the ps3 gets out of the hole they dug themselves but when they do you will see why so many intelligent forecasters feel the PS3 will lead in the end.

i dont know if ps3 is gona win. because they already lost what 10 titles do to a horrid launch plus system break downs. like i said on igngames.comforums i work at a walmart in electronics and we have had a shelf stacked with ps3's collecting dust. the wii's sell really fast and more people by the 360.

While that's a possibility, dirk, I think you're forgetting a few variables: Developer opinion, consumer opinion, and past evidence.
Developers have told interviewers what console they want to develop for. While indeed some want to work on PS3 for its supposed best graphical power, most want to make games for Nintendo's platforms. Even Square Enix, pretty much the PS2's trump card in the last generation, is setting a huge amount of focus on Nintendo, so far as putting the official 9th game in the Dragon Warrior/Quest line on the DS. Everyone thought Squeenix would be securely in Sony's pocket, but with the whole first half of FF recently re-releaseed on Nintendo handhelds, DQIX and Chocobo Tales upcoming on the DS, and the sequel to Crystal Chronicles being developed on Wii... that future doesn't look so concrete anymore.
Consumers also have the most important opinion in Sony's eyes. But unfortunately, they managed to sabotage that opinion with the abysmal launch and the still tiny library of games. Even when PS3 finally does get more than a handful of good games, people are going to be influenced by the current opinion: PS3 isn't as good as the other two.
By past evidence I mean developers' track record with "PS3-exclusive" games. All those developers that went cross-platform realized there was something wrong with the PS3, and decided it'd be more beneficial to develop on multiple platforms. Other developers are going to look at those decisions and wonder if they ought to do the same. Exclusive titles is no longer the certainty it was before, and it seems like most of the titles that are "still" PS3-exclusive are only so because the developer signed a contract.
So essentially, the market around the PS3 is saturated in uncertainty, and that's why we question these analysts' predictions that the PS3 will come out on top, because the huge variables don't allow concrete evidence of anything.

Square Enix is still developing for the PS3 with the main final fantasy story everything else wont compair to the main story.
If most developers want to develop on the Wii how come they aren't currently developing for the wii. The Wii has the least amout of developmental support out of the 3 consoles.
The future is never concrete but using only what you see today isn't a very good way to predict the future.

Both PS1 and PS2 had abysmal launches with very little games and they both did very well, and who can forget the 360 launch and it's doing fine now as well. A launch isn't that important in the long run. Only fools are influenced by the current opinion most people reserve an opinion that is generated by themselves not other people.

You are making incorrect assumptions to why developers go cross-platform. In the days of the ps2 there was no competition so there was no reason to leave sony. Now both the Wii and the xbox360 are doing very well and it would be more profitable to develop on all systems. Developers have and always will do what is best for them to make the most amounts of money and get there software into the most amounts of hands as possible, and right now that means cross platforming. If there was something wrong with the PS3 the developers would leave all together instead of just going cross platform.

They aren't looking at the uncertainty because it's pointless to look at uncertainties. They are look at the certainties such as, blu-ray format is doing well, PS3's sales are doing good(not as good as the wii but still good), Developers are still behind ps3 maybe not exclusively but no developer has left the sony line up, Sony has more advanced hardware to provide for a more long term system life span, Sony has had control over the market for over 10 years and still has control with the PS2 being the most owned console and still has the best selling software, HD TV's are very hot right now and the PS3 cost the same as a Xbox360 with a HD-dvd player included, HDMI is the most advanced HD cable around, and still more potential to come out of the ps3.
Again it may not be hot right now, but it will be in the future.

Ok I looked at the past few pages up until 232 and nothing was there or I must have missed it.
As for googleing, I came up with 2 articles. 1 is after the release of PS3 and 1 before the release. The one before release stats PS3 will win by 2010 with 75 million units which to me seems like a whole lot of consoles in just 3 years. PS2 sold more than 100 million however they have had 5 or 6 years to reach that goal and also they have been cutting the price every year to help reach that goal. The second article was in august and it basically says PS3 will win simple because of its SONY what amazes me even more is that they give numbers as to how many consoles each system will sell.
Article 1: http://www.gamasutra.com/php-bin/news_index.php?story=12250
Article 2:

If PS3 is to succeed then they will need a price cut sooner than later and take the biggest loss of all 3 consoles. They have to either cut the price or find a way to sell more.

The price isn't that bad if you actually want everything the ps3 has to offer. An Xbox360 with an HD-dvd player is the same price as the most expensive PS3. But most people right now don't care about HD movies that’s why the HD-dvd player for xbox hasn't sold too many yet.
The problem does lie in the fact that some people don't care about Blu-Ray because they don't have an HD-TV. but HD-TV's are getting cheaper and cheaper and more and more popular and when HD-TV becomes the majority then the blu-ray part of the Ps3 will become more useful and people will see that you are paying 400 for a console and 200 for a blu-ray player and the looking at it that way the price is the same as the xbox360 and the technology is said to be ”more advanced".
I don't own a PS3 yet because there are no games out for it yet, and I don't want to watch Blu-ray movies that bad, and most people in the world are saying the same thing. So give it more games and maybe fix some of the bugs it has and I'm sure many more people will start buying it even without a price drop, and when the price does drop its going to fly off the shelfs like the PS1 and PS2 did when they droped price.
I probably wont buy it for another 2 years because that’s how long it's going to take for the games I like to come out, and the games I like only come out on playstation with a few exceptions like blue dragon.
Don't take me for some crazy dude who just bought a PS3 and siding with it. I have a Wii and a 360, I know how good they are.
Now, look.
I wasn't amazed at all that the Wii is predicted to be the last, for many reasons. The first reason, which I think is the main reason, is that Wii graphics and hardware is what, a little bit better then the other Nintendo's? Right now, people are buying it for it's motion controllers, however soon developers on the PS3 will work up on it's SixAxis sensor to make it feel atleast a little bit like the Wii. People will start getting bored of the sensor controller once they see the gamest that will flow out of PS3's and Xbox 360's market. Once game producers get more skilled in the PS3, then it can really achieve it's 100%. It can use all of it's hardware, including it's Cell Proccesor, with which we can literally put the smartest AI units in. The Wii is so popular right now only because of the other systems in it's starting phase, where neither showed their real power yet.
I bought a PS3 because I knew that in the long run, the PS3 will reign over all the other systems. It's the processor and hardware that made me think this, because while motion controllers can get old, graphics won't. It's the uncertaincy of the PS3's technology right now that are bugging out the game producers. However once the PS3 starts showing it's real colors, or once the Xbox 360 will reach it's full limit, producers are going to switch over to the PS3, and once it will reach it's limit, it will be better then the graphics on most high end computers. Then, a crazy market boom would appear, with millions of people buying the PS3, and ALOT of games coming out for it.

You certainly manage a good impression of such, then.
The first reason, which I think is the main reason, is that Wii graphics and hardware is what, a little bit better then the other Nintendo's?
Actually, as Sonic and the Secret Rings has shown, it's slightly below 360. And only 3 months after launch, before developers have figured out the little tricks and shortcuts to push graphics even farther.
If you think motion sensing is simply a fad, then why were you bragging about the sixaxis only a sentence before?
Once game producers get more skilled in the PS3, then it can really achieve it's 100%. It can use all of it's hardware, including it's Cell Proccesor, with which we can literally put the smartest AI units in. The Wii is so popular right now only because of the other systems in it's starting phase, where neither showed their real power yet.
Of course, let's forget that the 360 is over a year old now. Hardly a starting phase anymore. Oh and actually the Wii's popularity so early is surprising, considering that the really high-profile titles (Metroid, Mario, Smash Bros.) won't be out until last this year at the earliest.
I bought a PS3 because I knew that in the long run, the PS3 will reign over all the other systems. It's the processor and hardware that made me think this, because while motion controllers can get old, graphics won't.
Graphics can get old, as evidenced by the fact that they are taken for granted nowadays. People expect more realistic graphics nowadays, just as they expected recorded voice acting last time a new dimension of game immersion was added. Both realistic graphics and motion sensing are forms of immersion, but motion sensing is far more so. Which should be obvious because developers apparently see profit in taking released games and modifying them for motion-based controls, a la Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones (renamed Rival Swords), Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, and The Godfather: Blackhand Edition.
It's the uncertaincy of the PS3's technology right now that are bugging out the game producers.
As well as the comparative difficulty of developing for the console, what with that much-vaunted-yet-annoyingly-complicated Cell Processor.
However once the PS3 starts showing it's real colors, or once the Xbox 360 will reach it's full limit, producers are going to switch over to the PS3, and once it will reach it's limit, it will be better then the graphics on most high end computers.
Console graphics will never be superior than computer graphics. Consoles with new tech come out once every 4-5 years, but with enough money you can retool a computer to be better in every way each month if you so desire.
Then, a crazy market boom would appear, with millions of people buying the PS3, and ALOT of games coming out for it.
PS3 kinda needs some games before millions of people will buy it, dude.
