Thus, this forum is for game discussion ONLY.
Then this thread should be closed too? Since its titled "Next-Gen Console Discussions -- OFFICIAL THREAD" no mention of games there at all.
I'm not trying to be smart, but if you close a thread for said reason should you not follow through and close this one too?

Video game systems fall within the realm of a video game discussion forum, since that is their primary and for the most part ONLY function.
Computers do not.
And also maybe read the thread? There's plenty of discussion of games in it.
What about the fact that video games are original made on a computer to begin with?
Plus can you explain the realm of video games and games systems? Since video games first started on computers.
Plus if the guy can't post here about his computer there is technically nowhere else he can post about computers except the off-topic forum, which in my opinion they would tell him to come here.
Also just because games are played on consoles does not entitle consoles to be posted here no matter which way you spin it as it is just a computer/video games discussion forum.
The original intention of the thread is console discussion thus anyone who speaks of games is technically gone off topic.

I'm sorry, but who is the mod here?
It is ultimately my decision and mine alone as to what is allowed here. And I do not take kindly to being told how to run my forum.
The fact that video games were originally made on computers is completely and totally irrelevant because gaming is not a primary or sole function of computers.
Just because there is nowhere else a thread goes it doesn't mean you can stuff it into a forum that vaguely fits. The OTF is for threads that don't go elsewhere. You put it there, or you don't create it, period. A thread for someone's computer specs does not go here as it has nothing to do with video games. Nothing at all. There's not a place for everything that exists on here.
That is all there is to be discussed about this, and all there WILL be discussed about it. Because it's not up for discussion. My decision is final and arguing a mod decision in public is seen as very bad form, so do not do it.
Your now saying your above me in terms of power eh? All your supposed to be doing is keeping the forums in order, yet we can't talk about computers in a Computer/Video Games Disussion forum.
Plus your conflicting with your own made rules which as I may as well add are non existent. Where is the thread for these rules on these forums anyway?
Also to add onto that the description of the forum is "The place to talk about all kinds of video games and computers
Plus who cares if you ban me? You think my life is over? I merely go to another forum. Your threats are empty and pointless.
I AM above you in terms of power. That's what being a moderator is. I create the rules for the particular forums I mod, and then enforce both those and the KMC forum rules. Meaning I decide how my forums are run.
Computer/Video Games does NOT mean the same as Computer and Video Games. There is a world of difference between the two.
I didn't write the description, I had nothing to do with it, and I think it's very misleading. But I can't change it.
There are rules, why don't you try taking a look at the pinned threads? It's clearly marked.
This discussion is over; bring it up again and you will recieve a warning.

I read today that PS3 is bringing back the Rumble pack?Did they settle their issue in court or something?
Oh that can't be happening! Sony said the rumble action messed up the tilt sensor, remember? 😛
Seriously though, they should have simply settled like Microsoft and Nintendo did when the issue first came up. God knows they have enough money for it.
One of the main reasons for people to upgrade their computer is so that it can play the higher end games so discussing Computer Specs should be allowed in order for a member to get some incite/input on their system and talk about games that it can handle and all that jazz. 😬

Totally agree.
A talk like that might save some people the embarresment of buying an PC game that doesnt run on thier computer.
A story in PC Gamer this month was talking about how Rainbow 6 Vegas didnt mention that you needed an videocard that had an pixel shader version 3 on it. If it didnt, you couldnt play the game. I think its important to talk about that type of stuff especially for PC gamers.
