Its not like all HD players will shutdown now, the movies still work, and many are still exclusive to HD. I wont be getting rid of my HD player because I still have good movies that arent available on Bluray, and Heroes Season 1. 😛

They will be eventually though.

i dont get what all the fuss is about... i doubt microsoft will be that damaged by the loss of hd-dvd, and so far their games catalogue wreckes pretty much anything the ps3 has, which sucks as i wanted to see the ps3 do well...

i doubt microsoft really cares atm...
