Last-Gen Console Discussions (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii)

Started by Smasandian507 pages

I dont think seeing PS3's, Wii's and XBOX 360 on store shelves is a very good indication on how its selling.

Personally, when somebody says that one console is sitting in a store and collecting dust means that its not selling well, I take that as a grain of salt.

I only want to see sales numbers to see if its outselling, or not selling at all.

1. and i disagree with the both of you. but to each his own

2. where you live thats true, but its irrelevant coz i'm in asia. and here, its the otherway around. wiis and ps3s are selling while the 360s sitting on shelves collecting dust.

1. cool.

2. well, we aren't anti american... 13

well, not any moreso than usual... 😛

lulz.

The new 80GB PS3 that's releasing in June is going to have the same backwards compatibility as the current (discontinued) 80GB PS3.

So why they decided to discontinue that for a few months, I have no idea...

You know me to well. 😛 🙂

I dont know if you guys noticed, but there is a few good games coming out in the near future and its bloody March.

Bully
Sins of the Solar Empire
Condemned 2
No More Heroes
GTA4

For what usually is a slow time of the year, there is a few good titles coming out.

I'm thinking that buying Unreal Tournment 3 wasnt a great idea with the lack of cash, not including buying MLB 2k8.

This whole year looks good for games 👆

If this happens then.................. wow. Talk about having your tale between your legs.

http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2008/03/06/sony-in-talks-with-microsoft-regarding-blu-ray/

Microsoft were talking about that weeks ago.

Has blue-ray got anything to do with Sony? Are Sony the main developers or something?

Yes.

Sony dont own it, but they are part of the founding companies. Also it would seem relevant since they have one incorporated with a gaming console, so Microsoft would need programming support and the like.

"Yes, that means Sony would be making money off of every 360 and PS3 sold."

Owned.

Oh gosh yes, wouldn't it be stupid for Microsoft to use an optical format that Sony has a controlling interest in?

Like DVDs?

Honestly people, keep some perspective.

once again, i am thoroughly pissed off at my wii's lack of connectivity..😬
i have looked everywhere for answers, and the only ones i get are "repeatedly enter your connection settings and if you are as lucky as me you'll eventually get a connection"
i was hoping someone here can help me out..

Get a wired adaptor, thats what I had to do.

you mean wired to the wii or wired to the pc?

no matter, i have figured out the problem..
apparently, my router no longer exists, and i have to reinstall it..
problem is, i dont have the disk to do this (even if you download the install program, it still neesds the CD)..
in short, the only way to get things to work is either -
A. a miracle
B. rebuy the entire thing just to get the disk

I find it very strange you need the disk. What model of router?
