We'll need more than that to help you.. We need details of the error given (including the number) and precisely when it happens.

Doesn't give an error really. Its just like when the blue wire from your modem to your P.C is unplugged even know its plugged into the router and all set up.

It just doesn't connect. Everything that booklet says to do we done, but the net doesn't work then.

I had to bring in my Wii to Future Shop. It was ****ed.

So know I have to wait 60 days for a new one.....great....

That's really not being at all helpful.

You will have to say precisely what happens.

Pull the wire from the modem to the P.C out and you will see. It can't connect tot he internet.

A network cable is unplugged is what it normally says but this has the same problem but seems to know its plugged into something.

did he have to pay a fee? if so how much?

ok, im not sure if this is true....but i heard on PS3 u can burn games onto the hard drive and keep them. like if u rent a game and did it. also, i would like to know if u can do the same on the 360. and id like to take the songs on my Winamp list and put em on my 360's hard drive. i have the Pro 360 by the way. and i do not have a PS3 yet. any help or advice would be appreciated. thank u.

that depends: if the PS2 is still within warranty, it shouldn't cuz anything, since it was an internal problem my brother had nothing to do with... but as it turns out the warranty was up so, it cost me 20$

now the thing is: I don't live in the states, so I took it to a shop to get it fixed, I don't really know how much it will cost you (shipping fees and what not)
about the overheating problem, try getting a usb fan or something, the PS2 slim seriously needs it.

I don't know that much about the PS3, but I seriously doubt you could burn games onto the HD, since it'd be illegal (not to mention the size of the BR game), but you can download demos and games from the PSN store and keep them on HD, of course you pay for games (such as Warhawk)... the same goes for the 360.

Is it me or has this generation lack of quality of control worst then previous consoles.

I've replaced my first XBOX 360, I'm replacing my Wii, alot of games now have numerous bugs and disc read errors. One game (NHL 08) has been literally scratched to shit after 5 days of use and one whole gaming division (2k Sports) releases bug ridden games to the public.

Is it just me or what?

I remember owning my GC and the only annoying thing was that Madden 06 sometimes froze every 20 games or so.

With any sport game (EA and 2k), its a giving thing to constantly save and its annoying when developers dont put in a option to save half way through a game.

In funny sense, since I got my new computer with Vista, I havnt had a single problem with a game to date. I dont think I have even crashed once while playing. Thats one thing I love about computer games. If it crashes, it just happened and once rebooted, the problem usually doesnt show up. If so, they're is always a patch available right afterwords that actually fixes it isntead of causing more problems ( I'm lookin at you Bully for the 360)

Sometimes consoles are good because you just plug it in and play but when problems arise, your pretty much ****ed and have to replace your system, or game, or wait for a patch. In the PC world, it can be fixed by yourself.

I feel the same the same way, Smas. I still own every last gen console (except for the collosal xbox, which I sold to get a 360) and the only problem I've have with any of them is a slight disc tray error with my PS2 (it takes ages to eject and sometimes it gets stuck). My 360 has/had two major problems, it had the RRoD once, then I sent it to Germany for repairs and now it's chewing on my discs. It's not really a problem right now since I know how it sounds when it does so I just eject the disc, rotate the disc a little bit and put it back in and it works like a charm. I would sure like to live without it though.

Why would you want to put them directly on to the hard drive when you can just stream all your music from your PC?

I actually decided to get a Wii over a 360 just cuz of the overheating problem...
..and it turns out, the Wii overheats as well (not to the point of being dead, mind you) which really pisses me off (specially since Nintendo doesn't cover technical support in my region anymore, ever since the GC appeared,) so at the moment I'm stuck here waiting to get rid off my Wii, before I get a new one... or just let it be until I get a PS3... And I recently got a PSP to lessen the pain 😄

the PS2, on the other hand, despite having problem, is easy to fix anywhere in the world (Stupid Nintendo : 😠 )

I blame the companies in the rush of making money out of a franchise (if talking about games), or just getting the console out before anyone else (Microsoft) for the quality problems.

In the case of Nintendo, making the console out of chip material (yeah, that's rite, the Wii problem it's cuz of the cheap GPU/CPU used on early consoles)

ok how do i stream the music directly from my pc?? im not really computer savvy....

With 360, media centre should work.

Its on your dashboard if you have a 360.

It's strange because my NHL 08 is getting scratched to shit but every other game I have is perfectly fine, including Madden.

I dont understand how one disc can get scratched while another is perfectly fine. It blows my ****ing mind.

I think it depends on how all the data's been compressed, for me, any game using a highly advanced graphics engine gets scratched, like Gears and CoD4. But apparently the scratches aren't exactly scratches, they're more like burnmarks so after a while you can just clean it off.

Did they replace the GPUs in the laters ones? I'm asking because I bought my Wii, like last christmas.

Hmm, its funny considering Gears, Bioshock are perfectly alright
