Had a question slightly off topic, is the gh3 guitar compatible with the rockband guitar?
And should i wait till rock band 2 comes out before buying rockband one in hopes of a price drop and finally....
should i wait for guitar hero 4 and just forgt the rock band concept since it'll be the same thing basically?
Oddest thing happened to me now, I popped my GRAW 2 game disk into my 360 to play it, but then all of a sudden the 360 said "Please insert this into a Xbox 360 to play it" After going back to the Dashboard, I saw that the icon said "Play DVD". It didn't recognize the game as a game anymore, a restart fixed it however. Anyone seen this before?

Yup. Honestly, I think it's one of the funniest error message I've ever seen. Telling you to insert the disc into a 360 to play...when it's in a 360 already.
It just means that for whatever reason it was unable to read the disc.
anyone have any thoughts on recent articles about "Xbox 360 Reaching its Limits"???

No I think you just saw the titles Is the Xbox 360 reaching the limit of its capabilities and Xbox 360 'approaching' graphics limit, says Gears 2 producer and you decided to slap it on without reading it yourself:
“……with the two to three more years of optimization that we’ve had, we’re much further along than I think, three years ago, we thought we were going to get. So I think we’re certainly approaching the upper end of it, as far as what developers are able to do with it, but just looking at all the demos we saw today — ours and others — it’s clear that all the games just keep improving, and keep pushing that bar.”
But that doesn't mean Xbox 360 owners can no longer expect graphical flourishes in the coming years. Says Fergusson, "There will be games in development that won't ship until 2010, and I'm sure they'll look killer... I still think there's room to grow."
So alright we get it; you're a PS3 fanboy but once again you failed.
360 is now officially the cheapest console in the US....

September 3, 2008 - Microsoft has confirmed what has been heavily rumored recently. All three versions of the Xbox 360 console will see a price cut as of September 5 in the US. The Xbox 360 Arcade will now clock in at $199, formerly priced at $279, after an $80 drop. The standard 60 GB hard drive model will cost $299, a drop of $50. The Elite, which comes with a 120 GB hard drive, will set you back $399. Previously it was priced at $449.This move comes after months of stagnating hardware sales for Xbox 360. According to NPD, the Xbox 360 was outsold by the Wii in the month of August by over 400,000 units. It was also outsold by the PS3 in that month, though by a slimmer margin. The sales of 360 have failed to pick up in 2008, despite high profile releases such as Grand Theft Auto IV and price shuffles that occurred near E3. This move makes the Xbox 360 Arcade SKU the least expensive home console on the market.

well there's where you're wrong, i read that part too, it just doesnt surprise me when they say it's nearly reaching its limit of what can be put out.
just wanted to know what people have to say about the 360 reaching the limits of what it can dish out visually, despite games in the future that may look a bit better than todays games, that guy from epic say its reaching its limits, with FarCry 2 and Rage, and more supposedly gonna look better on PS3 than the 360 version, i just wanna know what peoples thoughts are on the subject
What he was saying, which you failed to understand, was that he thought with all the optimization that's gone on he thought they'd gotten to the upper end of the 360's capabilities, but all the current demos show that games are continuing to improve and push that perceived bar.
so my thoughts on the subject? It's non-news and your PS3 fanboyism turned it into an anti-360 article through misunderstanding.

o i understand that the 360 has been out awhile, its developer friendly youve told me, that means developers can easily optimize the 360, to the point where they cant really get any better.
from my standpoint, it just sort of adds to that bucket of limitations for those who arent in favour of a 360. Put it beside the limited disc storage, lack of guaranteed HDD, no true HD, limited lifespan, etc.

Congrats on failing to understand what you read...again clapping
