I kinda agree that the 360 is reaching its peek (and yes i'm a PS3 fan, not a fanboy, lol). I think the only thing killing Microsoft is themselves, I never knew they charged developers for using another disk on games that are too large to put on one. They keep putting a leash on developers who are trying to create more on the system. They also have a size limit for XBLA games. Why?? Also you shouldn't have to pay to play online. Games are only going to get bigger, and they impose all these restrictions. I think Microsoft woulda killed the PS3 if they backed HDVD stronger by having it built in where they could use the extra space for games as well. Sony woulda been stuck with a dead format in an expensive system. I think thats the reason you saw so little of games then for Sony, to busy trying to win the media war for Bluray, while Microsoft focused on games.

How willfully blind can you say? The guy interviewed directly says the 360 will still be seeing improvements in games up to 2010, at which point the console will be five years old! That's massively normal and of no concern to anyone.

Disc storage is moot when games can span more than one, lack of HDD is just stupid on your part - only Arcade comes without one and you can buy the HDD separately, the HD can output to 1080p and I dont know why you mentioned lifespan....RRoD? Fixed. Longterm lifespan? New consoles. Seriously, what are you talking about?

I don't know man, some developers have been complaining about the disc space, I also said what you said, just use another disc, but that developer named Carmack, or John Carmack says Microsoft charges them to use extra discs, so then Carmack says the game will look better on PS3 cause they wont have to compress it or something. "Not 100% sure on exact words"
Now about that harddrive, I heard its a ripoff, some say its about the price of 2 games, "again i'm not sure"
Also outputting to 1080p looks like crap to the real thing.

Or it could have been because the Xbox pretty much failed to find the success it needed to compete against the PS2 and so Microsoft needed that Next-Gen console out and as soon as possible to get a lead on the PS3 and Wii.

Though it is Nintendo who also got the most out of it with SMG! I think it is a general publisher laziness/profot approach, rather than specifically Nintendo. They do have some pride.

im not blind, i read the enitre thing, sure it says we'll keep seeing improvements on til 2010 BUT it's very close to reaching its limits.
What would happen if you were an aspiring baseball player(360)? any players dream would be to land in the hall of fame one day, hit a home run, win games, be tremendously successful. But when someone tells you that your close to your limits(Epic), that you fall just short of extraordinary, that you have limits, you can only do so much. And then there's your rival(PS3) an allstar making a return, came back and started out rough, but has an extreme amount of potential and is very promising, even the coaches think he'll start getting into the zone more, ppl are starting to rally behind his return, he is getting more plays, since nov of 07, he's been stealing the show, it's only a matter of time that he surpasses you and then next game, you're benched or up last, you keep getting more injuries(RROD) and the coach and the crowd questions you. what would you do 🙄 ever think bout it like that??
anyways...To OutBound: Call me stupid, cuz developers have to take into consideration that not everyone owns the premium model, ya lets divide the fanbase straight the middle so arcade owners are fcked, There is absolutely no guaranteed HDD for this model, developers cant rule them out. Technically speaking, the ONLY system that can put out TRUE 1080p is the PS3, and as for RROD, epic fail
