I don't care if you don't agree with me S_D_J, but you have to at least try the game before bashing on a game. You can't just bash on it just because other people didn't like it. All of my friends at gamestop didn't really care for it because they didn't understand the story, but I understood it. They said the gameplay was good, but they didn't get the story. Maybe if you understood the story better, you would have liked it, but you guys will never play.

And GK, if you don't like the game, do the same thing I do when I don't like a game, RETURN IT.

That's still wasted time and money... I really don't think so. Nothing about the game appeals to me. I have as much desire to touch it as I do to touch Barbie: The Island Princess.

Which is to say, none.

I still don't get why he is hellbent on making people play the game so they can find out the story. What happens when they play it and end up disliking it and furthermore hating it since they wasted 60 bucks and 6 hours.

Rental at best. Me? I have games to spend my time with like Resistance 2, GoW2 and Falliut 3.

My best guess? He's unsure about his purchase and is trying to justify it by forcing others to play and like it.

I know most of you people are XBox360 lovers, but have any of you tried Haze, and if so, what did you think of it?

Haze is a great game.
I had tried it out in my friend's place, and the game rocks.
And the soundtrack was made by my all-time favorite band! w00t

I have no idea why game reviewers are giving this game a thumbs down.
Very, very underrated IMO.

Haze is an awesome game, I know.

Reviewers didn't understand the story of mantel, and, crap, what's that drug called? I can't remember, but they didn't get the blood all of a sudden popping up on there arms, and they didn't understand the bodies disappering, and then all of a sudden they appear all bloody and dead. I understood it, and loved the game.

Return the game and they will give all of your money back, well at least they do for me, because everybody at gamestop is my friend. Wow, you prefer a barbie game over haze? 😆 . I don't care if you don't like it, but don't bash a game if you have never tried it.

You can only return games for a refund if they're used. And even that is only within one week.

And "don't bash a game if you have never tried it"...isn't that what people are doing here with Wii games that are not even out?

Honestly, the game got poor reviews, both from reviewers and people who have played it. There is probably a reason for it. And I doubt it's simply "they didn't understand the plot".

Not for me. I bot a game and I had it for longer than 1 month, and I returned and got all of my money back, because they are all my dads, and my friends.

That is other people. I have played alot of Wii games, and I haven't liked 1 game, even a little. And the new animal crossing that is coming out is the exact same thing as is the one for the ds.

It is simply that they didn't understand the plot. No one got why blood would pop up on you all of a sudden, or why the bodies disappered, or even why bodies would all of a sudden pop up all bloody and dead, and then disappear. But I got it.

They are all your dads?

Then can you tell us wtf stuffhappens and get this thing over with?

Then they broke policy, which is going to come back to bite them in the ass one day.

Yeah, I know plenty of people who've played it, and not said one thing about the plot being weird or confusing. What they have said, though, is that the game is ridiculously short, the plot is terrible, and the gameplay is horrid.

Gosh I am so glad you guys are so much smarter than all these professional reviewers so that you understand what they don't.

Don;t be so ridiculous- when SO MANY reivewers are calling the game awful, that's saying something important, especially when they are criticisng such basically important things such as visuals (crap), graphical errors (many), lazy programming, poor AI etc- really fundamental areas that have nothing to do with the story or watever you are going on about.

Faced between all those reviewers savaging it and one or two loudmouths here saying the reviewers just didn't understand it and what-not, the conclusion is immediately obvious- the people defending it here have no sense of a good game, and hence their opinions are to be ignored.

If saying that your stupid is all that takes you to get me a warning, dang sorry.

Yeah it is, but you will never learn.

I don't care if you don't like Haze, but try it first.

I think you're confusing what's happening here.

They're not saying it's a bad game without having played.

They're saying they feel sure enough that they won't like it based on many other things, and this leads them to the conclusion that it's not worth finding out.

AC did you get to play Gow2?

I always use the "defective" new claim.

These so-called "reviewers" have their own preference in games.
Just because they say a game is mediocre at best, does not mean it is true. There are many factors that could their judgment over games.
ie.
It could be because 1) they preferred kiddie games over hardcore mature games, or 2) they lack the intellect to analyze and understand the plot of the game being reviewed.

In fact, you will find in most online reviews that Super Smash Bro. Brawl is given a very high rating by these so-called "professional reviewers".
Seriously, did they even bothered playing this game?
This game is absolutely horrendous. It had no plot, graphics were below par.
It's a game one would get bored of after 30 minutes.

BTW don't go namecalling people "loudmouths" in this forum.
As a mod, you should know better.
Shame on you. Shame.

Calling someone a loudmouth isn't bashing.

And I'll be likely to think reviewers are right when you see a lot of professional reviews and player reviews saying the same thing. Which was the case for both Haze and Smash Brothers.

Oh no, we follow the rules. How terrible.

Since when did mods ever follow the rules in KMC?

There's even a mod in the comic book forums who posted a thread in the WRONG forum.
Despite this, the mod of that respective forum didn't even bother issuing a warning to that other mod.

http://www.killermovies.com/forums/f77/t496814.html

As you can see, WrathfulDwarf posted a question that should have been posted to the 'Comic Book Question' thread.
Instead, he made a thread in the 'Comic Versus' forum.
Seriously WTF??? 🤨

I have seen similar instances in different forums in this site.
So NO, mods DON'T follow the rules whatsoever.
They make rules of their own, and sometimes go borderline abusing said authority.
