Did Anita know about a little indie game known as MW2 when she said that? 🙄

It's pretty obvious that MW2 would garner more sales, since it's a MULTI-PLATFORM game.

It never really fails... anytime Unchartered 2 is mentioned, someone brings up MW2
🙄

BTW, NBA 2K10 > Halo 3 ?? 😂

Doesn't matter if it is multiplatform.

If you were to take just the sales figure for the MW2 PS3 version (which is said to be a lower % than that of the 360 version) you'd still be left with a much higher number than nº 1 last month sales... I'm pretty sure of that

btw: my comment about MW2 had nothing to do with Uncharted

New Firmware update for PS3 adding Facebook (as if it was a necessity)

and future PS3 firmware to add 3D compatibility (both Blu-ray and Games)
http://ps3.ign.com/articles/104/1047594p1.html

One of the ways Sony plans to drive industry growth and profitability in the coming years is by expanding into the 3D market with its PlayStation 3.

During the company's conference meeting earlier this morning, Sony revealed plans to roll out a line of 3D-related products for your home, including a new series of televisions and Blu-ray players, and also plans to upgrade all PlayStation 3 consoles with a firmware update adding 3D capability by fiscal year ending March 31, 2011.

In line with the company's 3D strategy going forward, Sony also plans to have ready 3D compatible software. Whether that means entirely new 3D games or simply upgrading older titles remains to be seen.

Sony CEO Howard Stringer hinted at this movement this past September, but details at that time were unclear. Sony has also yet to unveil pricing for its new 3D televisions, but it is assumed they could cost in upwards of $3,000 during the initial launch.

I see nothing wrong with that.
I'm always signed on my Facebook account everytime I go online.
This is good news for me.

HYSTERICAL

Not sure if this has been posted but I found it quite funny, hope it is enjoyable to either side of the, oh so stubborn, console divide:

Some good news for DSi owners:
VoIP services are now available through Skype Lite.

OT:
Good news for cellphone enthusiasts:

The Big Four (Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, LG) have agreed to release stable versions of their latest future handsets 2 weeks earlier than the worldwide official release for the Middle Eastern and Japanese markets.

Unfortunately, these early released handsets will be sold cheaper in the Middle East since the handset is not yet fully Arabic-enabled.

The Cell processor is really good at calculating raw floating point operations.

Okay...don't really know what that means but cool.

It means it's good for all sorts of 'scientific' calculations such as protein folding. Unfortunately, it means little when it comes to playing games.

Screw those morons tohslaugh.

😂 Well as long as the 360 doesn't become as casual as the Wii or anything (which it won't), I'm not particularly worried, but the Jonas Brothers promoting it thing was kinda stupid nonetheless.

Got a PS3 for christmas. Got the slim model, really like how it looks. Very sleek.

Only really played Killzone 2 so far, pretty amazing looking. Crazy graphics and atmosphere. Did a good job with that.

I too got a PS3 Slim for Christmas. Played some Uncharted 2, but also got Killzone 2 and the God of War Collection, so will try those soon too.

Must say tho, that I prefer the 360 Dashboard (friendslist etc) over the PS3 so far, but that is subject to change as I get familiar with the PS3 setup.

Yeah, the dashboard is quite nice for the 360. Better than the PS3.

But I do like when you select the Blu Ray disc, it shows a wallpaper for the desktop. It's very simple thing but it can of gives the game some exictment.

What I do like though is that the system is damn quiet. After playing the PS3 for better of 6 months over the 360, then turning on the 360, the damn thing is like a ninja compared to the transport truck of the 360.

But I hate how long it takes to download and install any sort of updates. On the 360, it's very streamlined and when the status bar finishes it, its done.

While the PS3 its like, "its download, but wait! I got to install that shit"

Definitely agree. The menu for Xbox is a lot nicer. Everything just feels more neat and tidy.

I do like the almost absurd number of options that the PS3 gives you, though. Tweaking the display and all that is a nice option to have.
