And it is quite telling when Christians and non-Christians alike would prefer to go to hell rather then get with Marcello's freakish aberration of a God. Sadly I doubt he would see the humor of it. Rather I just imagine he would chalk it up to our "God hate."

Marcello makes Whob look compassionate, and makes JIA look rational....I agree 100% with everything Regret said to Marcello, especially in that statement.

However, I remember making the exact same point to Regret, not to long ago, when we used to have our debates about homosexuality and religion.

I just want him to remember....and since he is discussing Christian hypocrisy and attacks on other Faiths, primarily mainstream Christianity's prejudice against and denial of Mormoms, I didn't think bringing up homosexuality and religion would be off topic or inappropriate for the point I am trying to make.

I don't think you get the point...the point was you do not appreciate Marcello debasing your identity and faith as a Mormon. He is calling you part of a cult, debasing all your knowledge simply referring to it as Satan's teachings etc

Mormon Faith may be distinguished from mainstream Christianity, but the fact remains that both see Homosexuality as degenerate and as morally inferior. If I were to enter your Heaven, but hold a lesser position, or be denied certain rights, privelages, and freedoms due to my sexual preference, than I would rather bail out and go somewhere else, then serve under such a prejudice God, which your God still is.

I know what you're beleifs are, but that's not my point, which I think you missed. If given the choice between serving your intepretation of God by having a lesser position and power in Heaven, and ending up in Hell, simply for being who I am, I'd choose the latter.
