That and Spidey has a bad habit of well getting hit by people with a fraction of Slade's speed because of their fighting baility and Salde has plenty of that. A mind that is quite possibly the most adpet at fighting sense he can forumlate plans faster then Spidey could.

His weapons cause wide spread damage as well so a near miss is still gonna be a hit.

He also has a healing factor so he could take a hit from Spiderman and survive Spidey gets hit with one of Slade's weapons and that won't be the case for Spidey.

I diagree spidey dodges lasers every single day of the week fairly easily. He can dodge almost anything assuming he doesn't ignore his spider-sense which he does frequently with ock, to concentrate on a more pressing matter like stopping a bomb or saving a hostage.

The speedsters he kept up with is the sign that the character need some low showing to be kept interesting. It's called and ruled out in almost every forum as PIS or SMvFL. People who know very well that it's leagues above what Slade can actually do dismiss it as nothing more than BS. Without it, slade 10x speed or as fast as the speed of thought is all but useless against any speedster..

Flash doesn't have a spider sense now does he. Slade just couldn't hit a well written Spiderman, and if Spiderman went off on him, Slade would get slammed, unless you think he can break out of tensile steel strong webbing while he's being turned into a wrecking ball, getting his head cracked from pillar to post.

Spiderman-just because he has been powered down to his classic levels, it doesn't make him a pushover.

Current Deathstroke while chained up beat to shit he broke out of the cuffs beat his daughtet Ravager who had her usual gear and escaped. Not sure if he can beat somebody so much stronger than him but his enhanced brain will help him keep up with spidey.
