Ok, need to tell the Imps that!

That leaves you and Cass where you were before, fighting three squadrons.

LL guys... Concentrate on the normal ties, I'll go after the advanced ones, then the Squad leader.

Like I say, Cass, you can only specify a target if you Hunt.

Wouldn't that only apply to attacking the sqad leader, or can I not even designate what types of targets i go for?
EDIT: Screw that, I'll hunt, I have Killer Instinct, and it really doesn't matter, because they could only attack me anyway.

It means every single one that attacks you gets a bonus to hit.

I shall clarify the immunity issue. You cannot target anyone at all when dogfighting.

You can target when Hunting, but players are immune to being targetted if there are still enough Mooks to cover them UNLESS they make a manoeuvre that blows that cover.

Can I pick targets without having to worry about all these penalties?

Nope; you fire at random targets attacking you.

Oooh, well then I will change my mind for teh umpteenth time and say Dogfight.

Kyle plows the Last Laugh toward the enemy fighters, thinking all the time how much that freighter captain pisses him off. Since the man's out of reach, he's going to take it out on the TIE's instead.

Oh for the days when the norm was for people to be nice guys, Kyle. Still, that's what the Alliance fights for.

(Kyle's a nice guy, he just gets agitated is all.)

Well, I was referring to how you find other people are like, rather than you.

(Yeah, it was just I was noticing how pissy Kyle's posts have been lately. I sometimes onder if i'm laying ot a little thick.)

Ok, Dogfight-a-doodle-do!

Six TIEs are not trying to fight but to go straight past. Your attacks become targetted on them.

Cass rolls a 20, and so can destroy one of them in the most spectacular way imaginable.

Kyle rolls a 16, that is a kill as well.

Eerin can't actually attack the ones going past, but as he rolls a 3 anyway, his fire goes wild.

One squadron (now of 11) goes after Cass, the rest go after the Last Laugh, as does a dogfighting Sqaudron leader.

Ooh, Cass is nearly unscathed, but he actually takes a hit.

Last Laugh is completrely swarmed by nearly two dozen fighters. Kyle is piloting like mad but he is not a one man fleet!

The Squadron Leader comes in exeprtly; Kyle is keeping an eye on him and manages to keep clear of his fire but the criss-crossing green death from elsewhere is too much to avoid!

Four TIEs are past and on the chase.

Scarlet, are you going to help the Smugglers?

"Eerin, I thought I said don't miss!", Kyle ribs his partner while jockeying around most of the incoming fire.

It would be unlucky if they actually destroyed it quickly. They do still have to catch it, and it will fire back. Still, it goes with the dice.

(Just checking the odds. We will continue to tie up these TIE's for now. I think the ship can afford to soak up more damage for now. Eerin, don't let me get too carried away, we have to save some armor for the escape!)
