USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Rebel Alliance Thread

The Dawn definitely begins to protest. "Kyle, we'll have to bail soon, or things will get interesting."

He sees Cass' opponent pull his move, and curses in a strong collection of alien words. "I think we're in trouble."

"...wow," Scarlet says, watching as the TIE that Cass faces performs its swift turn and fires. "We're losing this fellas. We need to take out that artillery!"

Scarlet will making a Bombing Run on Artillery Unit B.

(Oh shit. It's Vader! We're in trouble anyhow, let's get some parting shots in on the damaged artillery unit and scram. Unless somone has any wild last minute schemes.)

"What the hell? I didn't think that was possible in a TIE! Folks, we're outclassed and outnumbered here. Let's pull up stakes and get back to the city. We've at least put a good dent in their plan."

(Unless Cass can cover us alone to finish off the arty, which I doubt, I see no other choice. We might consider blowing some Luck or Fortune into the last shots on the artillery, though.)

Galahad watches tensely on the sensors at the Guild Hall.

"Things seem to be looking worse..." Galahad says.

If they destroy Unit B, what effect does that have on the artillery's assault on the City?

Yea,
Lets bail
stupid vader trump card..
Take another one, MAYBE two turns to go at the artillery
and then we need to bail.

That you will have to judge for yourself; enough info has been provided.

"All right, baby, time to rest..." Rhys says to the Dawn. "Cass, cover me, or I'll probably be ending this battle the wrong way."

Let's try Escaping, I think. Can Kyle use Escape or Evade from the turret to increase our chances of getting out unscathed, or is that just silly to think?

Do we have to wait for Scarlet to finish off her run before heading back to the City?

Just silly I am afraid.

And no, it just changes how many ships those remaining have to face at once. However, that'as rather irrelevant as it's very impractical for you guys to flee back to the city at different times. They cannot keep powering the shileld up and down.

"We can't just go now!" Scarlet says. "I don't care how good the Squadron Leader and the newcomer are, we can't let the artillery pummel this City! I'll cover you if you go in, Rhys. I promise."

-

We need to take out this artillery; we don't have a means of fighting it from the ground.

Cass, Vader's scary, I agree, but do you think you could survive long enough for us to bomb out the third artillery unit?

Rhys, the Dawn's getting dinged up, but you have a better Payload rating than me. If you're willing to stay on long enough to blow up Unit C, I'll escort you.

The ships exploding is less dramatic than the planet exploding, personally, so I think we should take the risk.

"I feel for you, Scarlet, I really do. But if the Dawn goes down, even if we don't die we'll be outside the walls. And frankly, I don't think we can survive another hearty walk through the Jungle or the entire Imperial army."

"Then crash it ahead of the Army! We've got any army that will cover us if we have to charge it up the walls."

"Who was that that just shot at Cass?" Sasha asks Galahad, watching the sensors.

"I can only assume," Galahad says, grimly.

Shit, maybe...
I dunno how long I could last..
But I could try
If it gets too hot, we'll book anyway.

Once Scarlet completes her run, we will have eliminated two of their three artillery units. I say that's a significant accomplishment, and the single artillery unit left couldn't possibly end the game all by itself.

The Dawn needs to bail, or Rhys and Kyle will most likely die.

Ush, weren't the entrances blocked off from the inside?

(Ok, I agree to be the hero. Let's stay to take out the second unit. I think we might still be screwed if we leave any arty behind. If it looks good enough, we'll stay for the last. We really really have to work together though. Use the ship rules to cover each other. Blaze of glory, anyone?)

We can only go ahead with it if Rhys agrees to join us.

Pwetty pweeease. eyes

(I'm really on the fence about this one. We're outmatched, but we really need to kill the artillery. I guess that makes it Rhys' and Cass' call. Besides, my track record for heroic/harebrained schemes isn't good.)

It's very difficult to get inside, yes, but I dare say you heroes could manage it. It's who they send to stop you is probably the issue.

"I'm gonna regret this."

Rhys turns to face Artillery Unit C, and locks in for a Bombing Run.

"Kyle, we're gonna be Big Damn Heroes."
