Well, that depends what the person concerned is trying to do. But there are no solitary Osokans here other than the bartender.

Smallest group of Ososkans then. Or the most whimsical looking ones.

The more important thing is still what you want to do! I am making no rolls unless I get proper plans.

We will buy the strongest drink on Lanzar that Ososkans drink using our Sav-foure skill, then we will walk to the smallest group of Ososkans with the drinks and start talking to them and start to talk to them. We will use our social skills to get them to start talking about there world after they get some amount roused from all the drinks were going to give them (Let's say 5 per Ososkan). We will then proceed to ask them about the Guild and Mastadan. We will then proceed to ask them more intrusive questions as they soften. Good plan all?

Right, pushing the Osokans for info about Matadan- fine, I can make a roll for that. That's the kind of thing I need.

Any other social requests?

I want to talk to outsiders.
We have a fairly good idea about the lodges...
and I really don't think that it needs to be in more detail, but, as we are outsiders, I think we should at least get their opinion, and they can tell us how to make some cash, and loopholes.
It would be worth it.

Ok- get info from outsiders about how cash is made here- fine, I can roll on that.

Sound good?

Ya.

Fine with everyone?

OK yea, thats waht I want.
and then I want to ask the bartender for a Bottle of Wine...

yea that sounds good.

(This may sound strange, but i have the sudden urge to blow something up, game-wise that is...)

How bout some type of cloak and dagger (without the dagger) but my seduction would be the best there and dont think youd find any Osokans that would be attracted to a human-appearing alien...

my lying wouldn't get very far as im clearly not a member of the guilds, intelligence gathering and espionage wouldn't exactly be my speciality. ('sigh', i wasted my points...)

Dont suppose that anyone else wants to take this up, gathering vital information may have to be gathered through less-than-agreeable methods, leagally that is. i have a feeling that this may be very important to our goals, think me nuts if you will but i have a hunch...

-(hey TPT, go the KOTOR sig! though it looks like mynocks in the background...)

Okidokey then.

Osokans are a surly lot, and you really need a good pitch to get much out of them (save the bartender, who is more of a talking point). So I am afraid you do not get much information other than this- getting opposition against Matadan was easy, because Matadan tried to introduce a tax on hunting revenues, something the Osokans you speak to find hysterically funny. Drakkon made himself popular by reversing that, though as they point out, a Hutt could have made himself popular here by reversing that, no skill involved there.

As for the traders- well, it seems pretty simple. What with the war, and rumours of Imperial intervention, prices for pelts and the like have skyrocketed. It seems the Guilds have been keen to get more money lately, so they are selling pelts to traders they know at a knockdown price, who are in turn making a fortune flogging them out to the Galaxy at large.

But there does also seem to be a suggestion that pelts aren't the only way to make money here- a few knowing winks and nods. But you don't get any further there.

That more or less takes up all your time in the bar, before Galahad is going to call you guys over to the main Guild Hall- or at least he will when he plays.

My plan...

More or less, walk in, introduce myself to the Senators to let them know I have arrived, and make acquaintances with Drakkon, if possible.

Scarlet will just sip her drink and listen to all the goings on.

Sounds like good business... Scarlet thinks to herself. If I were into smuggling, I'd definitely chip in...I wonder what the other means of making cash are...oh well...

Ok, you're heading to the Senate, Galahad, that's the important bit.

It's incredibly busy in this building. Except for the large amount of Osokans- who around here are rather more definitely Hunters, carrying their distinctive neurowhips, rather than the normal Osokans outside- aides are rusing about all over the damn place. It's quite the hubbub of activity, and no-one seems to have any time for you.

Finally. you are recognised by a friend of yours- Senator Tremas, from Traken. "Galahad!" he exclaims upon seeing you. "What the heck are you doing in this mess?"

"Ah, Tremas!" Galahad greets him with a firm handshake. "I am here as a political observer, my friend. I wanted to watch, set it up with the Senate, and now I am here! I wanted to be here when the fate of the planet is decided."

Not far from the truth, eh? Galahad thinks to himself.

Duchess Sasha smiles and tries her best to look cheerful as Tremas and Galahad meet, and she fixes up her green-and-blue and gold-trimmed outfit out of habit.

"Greetings, Senator Tremas," she says with a slight curtsy.

"My Lady," he says, bowing in return. "Are you observing as well? From Naboo? I can't think of anywhere that mnight be more shocked by the likes of this place. And, well, I know you take an interest in these things, Galahad, but you are here rather late into things, aren't you? Why didn't you come to watch from the start?"

"Ah, well, I wanted to, my boy, but I had personal matters to deal with, regarding...well, you remember Gallagher, right? It's been over a decade since he vanished, but my wife is still having episodes of depression. We needed a little vacation."

"I do not find it shocking, per say," Sasha replies to Tremas. "I am Duchess Sasha Torvuellé, but I am sure you already knew. Lanzar is indeed very different from my homeworld, but traveling has always been a hobby of mine."

She nods solemnly when Galahad tells his excuse.

"Yes, they came to visit me on Naboo and stayed with me at Dee'ja Peak, then went out to Varykino in the Lake Country, a lovely place I purchased from the Naberrie family, bless their hearts. Lady Klinge-Faust most definitely needed the vacation."
