Scarlet speaks truly- the main lodge is the dominating building in the city, and is not hard to find.
---
And so, after some time passes, all of you find yourselves stepping into the Central Lodge Chamber of Drakkon's Lodge; the centre of Government on Lanzar. A number of surly looking Osokans prowl around the outskirts of the room- all with neurowhips.
Drakkon is on the carapace throne at the far side. He is no bigger than the Osokans around him, and the only way you can really distinguish him- Osokans very much looking mostly similar- is by his badges of rank; the gold emblems on his hunting outfit, and the handle of the Guildmaster's whip, handed down from Guildmaster to Guildmaster over time.
But it's actually those of you with Gambling- mostly the Free Traders- that spot the real difference first. His eyes- moving quickly, brightly. Other Osokans seem to have a permanently distracted feel to them- as you hear it, they only tend to become concentrated on the hunt. Certainly amongst the Hunters, anyway, who are a macho lot; you assume there must be Osokans over time who have cencentrated on developing technology and building ships and the like.
But as Hunters go, there is something more to this one. You reckon this one could play a card bluff pretty well.
Drakkon doesn't speak- he simply motions for someone to come forwards and speak themselves.
Kyle glances sideways at Eerin, unsure if he should translate. But hey, that's what we're here for he thinks, might as well lay the cards out on the table.
"Um, what my friend here was wondering, uh, your majesty, is whether you are aware of a certain Rebellion." his voice grows stronger. "A group, though small in number that has been working covertly to fight the Emperor's rule. A group that is now prepared to move from covert to overt." he blinks, surprising himself with the passion he finds he as for the movement. "Well, he didn't say all of that, I added a little myself." He looks at the others, "Hey, honesty is supposed to be the best policy. This is a good way to find out." and grins at them.
"Numbers do not mean victory, though I am sure the Osokans are fairly used to outnumbering their opponents," Galahad tells him. "We have a tactical plan all laid out, with equipment to boost it, should the Imperials attack the way I forsee them doing. We would, of course, ask for cooperation from what forces you and your Lodge captains can provide."
