So will Eerin.

Alright, Lets roll.

Kyle will let Eerin drag him from the bar. (Like he would have a choice.)

I'll follow Cassius.

"That wine was awful man, reminds of that one time in those barracks in Ladium"

*In a lower voice as to not be overheard*
"I hear ya, stupid pigs, don't understand fermenting."

Scarlet speaks truly- the main lodge is the dominating building in the city, and is not hard to find.

---

And so, after some time passes, all of you find yourselves stepping into the Central Lodge Chamber of Drakkon's Lodge; the centre of Government on Lanzar. A number of surly looking Osokans prowl around the outskirts of the room- all with neurowhips.

Drakkon is on the carapace throne at the far side. He is no bigger than the Osokans around him, and the only way you can really distinguish him- Osokans very much looking mostly similar- is by his badges of rank; the gold emblems on his hunting outfit, and the handle of the Guildmaster's whip, handed down from Guildmaster to Guildmaster over time.

But it's actually those of you with Gambling- mostly the Free Traders- that spot the real difference first. His eyes- moving quickly, brightly. Other Osokans seem to have a permanently distracted feel to them- as you hear it, they only tend to become concentrated on the hunt. Certainly amongst the Hunters, anyway, who are a macho lot; you assume there must be Osokans over time who have cencentrated on developing technology and building ships and the like.

But as Hunters go, there is something more to this one. You reckon this one could play a card bluff pretty well.

Drakkon doesn't speak- he simply motions for someone to come forwards and speak themselves.

Once we are all assembled, Galahad steps forwards to speak.

"Greetings, Guildmaster Drakkon, I am Senator Galahad Klinge-Faust of Thespion," Galahad says.

Could I use Savoir-Faire to make a gesture of respect in the style of an Osokan, if they perform such things?

You reckon any such thing is probably beyond a human.

Drakkon nods.

"I greet you, the representative of your world, in the name of Drakkon, Guildmaster and leader of my own. You have come with your friends to my Guild Hall, Senator Klinge-Faust. Why have you brought your business here?"

Galahad is slightly perturbed by his grammar, but ignores it.

(Before I continue, there isn't anyone around that isn't of Drakkon's court, yes? Andran isn't here, or the other Senators? Someone that wouldn't go 'Gasp, Rebels ruining the negotiations!'?)

No, you are in total privacy.

"I bring grave news and an offer," Galahad says, choosing his words carefully. "I trust you have heard the rumors of the Imperial military movements?"

"I hear a lot of rumours," says Drakkon.

"In that case, we come to confirm one of them," Galahad says. "There are currently Imperial Star Destroyers on their way to your magnificent world, and we are pretty sure of their aims. We come to offer...an allegiance, if you will. An Alliance...to help you defend your world."

He leans back in his throne.

"And this is what you bring me?" he asks.

"[You have heard of the growing Rebellion against the Empire, yes?]" Eerin asks, then remembers that Drakkon probably cannot understand him.

Kyle glances sideways at Eerin, unsure if he should translate. But hey, that's what we're here for he thinks, might as well lay the cards out on the table.
"Um, what my friend here was wondering, uh, your majesty, is whether you are aware of a certain Rebellion." his voice grows stronger. "A group, though small in number that has been working covertly to fight the Emperor's rule. A group that is now prepared to move from covert to overt." he blinks, surprising himself with the passion he finds he as for the movement. "Well, he didn't say all of that, I added a little myself." He looks at the others, "Hey, honesty is supposed to be the best policy. This is a good way to find out." and grins at them.

Ala'ii nods too, in agreement. further looking for others as such, "Fair 'sumption"

She then cut through the momentary silence, "As we 'ave been informed, guildmasta', is that this rebel'yun wants ta see your planet in safe 'ands. Tha' Imperials showin' up in them destroyers is never a good omen..."

"Small in number indeed," says Drakkon, indicating towards all of you with a wave of his hand.

"Numbers do not mean victory, though I am sure the Osokans are fairly used to outnumbering their opponents," Galahad tells him. "We have a tactical plan all laid out, with equipment to boost it, should the Imperials attack the way I forsee them doing. We would, of course, ask for cooperation from what forces you and your Lodge captains can provide."

"Don't toy with me, human. You are not Gods, and you cannot destroy armies. Be aware, there is only one thing that I respect, and that is strength. The Empire has strength. Where is yours? And why, then, should I not deal with the Empire, who are strong?"
