Afraid so.

Hmm,
(Note to self, Get more grassroot suport..)

That is a spectacularly good ideaa. It is very much the Rebel way.

Certainly could help for the Battle of Lanzar.

Just one more decision from the Imps and we are moving on.

Going to try and move on damn fast, too, because this game's anniversary is approaching with disturbing speed.

ahh!
Damn..
Hmmm. What can we do to get these cargo ships through?

Well, you can look at my hint again.

Well, time's up!

DAY 2

MORNING

Second shipment arrives in the afternoon

Outstanding tasks:

Find way to attack Imperial camp
Second shipment of weapons must come through
Other weapons- and yours- must be recovered from hostile Osokan faction
Imperial blockade must be undone!

Here is the situation.

A message has been sent to the Senate by the Captain of the Deviator informing it of the destruction of the freighters. The message itself speaks only of 'suspicions; that the freighters were carrying weapons, and justifies their destruction on the grounds that they fled.

Whilst no literal declaration has been made, the Imperials moving to intercept ships on 'suspicions' amounts to blockade of Lanzar. Their trump card in their handling of maters? Their salvage operation found an entirely accurate ship's manifest inside the computer banks, stating in detail the weapons on board,

There has been no declaration about why they think the weapons were smuggled or if they had evidence the weapons were to be used illegally.

Now, people are doing things today that take time- flying through space, or going through the jungle, things that take hours- and so no hours today, just time periods. People might not be doing things literally at the same time.

(Well.... Any more ideas about how the blockade gets run? If they know what the ships are, what they're carrying, and we can't attack, we can't draw the entire fleet off because TIE's can handle us, what is left? I can't think of anything but sneaking or fighting. Neither sounds like it works, so I'm completely out of ideas. But I'm still all for the Jungle raid, I at least have ideas about how to carry that out. Ush, is there any roll the smugglers can make to get some insight on running the blockade? Like remembering anything they've done, or heard done in a similar situation? I mean, I know you can't hand us an answer, but maybe it'll get us hinted in the right direction.)

Yes, you run like buggery past the weakest part of the blockade and make sure there is a welcoming place to land where the Imperials won;t follow.

Any trick will do to get past the blockade so long as it happens too fast for anything to go wrong.

Ok fine.
We just burn past the blockade. Land in the jungle, then proceed to use the weapons in the shipment to make the attack on imp camp! There we go!
Not too complicated.
Ok groups of people for each tasks!
Sasha, can you try to get our weapons back?
Galahad, can you work on politically getting the blockade down?
If Rhys is not gonna do the blockade run, maybe he can help find an ideal spot in the jungle for us?

Well, I had intended for Rhys to help Sasha get the weapons back, so she wouldn't be dealing with a hostile Osokan lodge on her own.

Not sure there is such a thing as an ideal landing/camping spot in the Lanzar jungle... wait, Ush, could Galahad or Sasha ask Drakkon to send some Osokans to make a landing spot in the jungles? Osokans can handle the jungle better than us, and they are Drakkon's weapons, so he's got to have a personal interest in them getting down.

They might well be able to arrange something.

Good call Rhyls.
Lets do that

(Ok, Maybe we can go and escort the ships when they arrive. We head slightly away from the TIE's as if we were trying to get to a certain part of the planet before them. The trick will be that since they'll probably be trying to head us off, (getting to a point ahead of us) Before that point, we'll make a sharp angle turn and cut across behind them. That will put them behind us, hopefully, and it'll be a better chance at racing to the atmosphere. Hope I explained that right, it's geometry, really. Any takers?)

Alrighty, Day 2.

Duchess Torvuellé wishes to borrow a speeder with Captain Ranad and make her visit to Captain Vormax.

Before Galahad starts bitching about the blockade, he will indeed try to set up a secure landing place for the blockade-running crew to land later. If I need to RP that out, Galahad will go find Drakkon.

Galahad does not find 'suspicions' a reasonable excuse to be taking lives and restricting the freedom of airspace over Lanzar whatsoever. He is a little suspicious about how they obtained the real manifest when Kyle and Rhys assured that the freighter changed their manifest, but no real way to safely present that without seeming suspicious. Wouldn't do to have Galahad arrested...yet.

I admit, the fleeing was suspicious, but the Imperials don't have any surefire proof that the weapons were meant for shooting at stormtroopers or the Commissar or something silly like that.

Galahad would also like to visit Andran to see what he thinks about all this.

Rhys will be with Sasha, serving as both possible protection and a second voice.

If you remember, Galahad, Andran said he would be busy trying to stop the Osokans causing trouble this morning, so it is up to you to protest the blockade. How do you actually want to do that?

Incidentally, there is rather a lot of activity in the Guild Hall right now. Another Lodge Master has arrived, with a bodyguard and people carrying a large number of weapon crates, and there seems to be quite a vicious argument between the Lodge Master and Drakkon. This makes talking with him difficult.

Going to Vormax can be done any time- was anyone going with Sasha?

I am still unclear on how you plan to 'burn' the freighters pst the blockade? Your plan will get you through, but not them.

Brit, it might be worthwhile having Sasha find out what's happening with this new Lodge Master confronting Drakkon. If anything, we'll need to do something about those weapons he's brought.

And yeah, Ush, I was planning on Rhys sticking with Sasha.
