USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Started by Trickster372 pages

Lyle will accompany Rylis.

And it seems this hour is a bit long..... It entered into my calculations that Rebels would have to act very quickly and decisively at this point to escape with someone before the battle..... ❌ unless they were planning it all along, and I only made it easier for them. But it is contrary to my gamble that they are focusing on fighting.....we shall see.

I doubt they'll just get up and leave.

You have three available, Ulrand.

Is only one of them in space of any use? It was said that THREE are not enough...

I think we have a Darkie in the making...

Arvus will fly down with Ulrand. Lyle, you would probably be more at home on Rylis's ship; there's room on it, not on the Needle.

"Thanks for the escort," Arvus jokingly says to Ulrand.

(So Melkor, should I take all three down, or only one?)

"No problem, Arvus, any time," Ulrand replies, himself chuckling a little.

This is happening NOW, folks, you realise. Right now, two are down and one is up.

I think all three, since they are going to make it past the blockade anyway, if they really want.

So one descending now may surpise them...

"I intend to stay with you and your fighters until the Army is about ready to begin the ground battle," Arvus says. "Same with you, Rylis?"

I think we should leave something in the blockade. Otherwise, that's just ridiculous...

"Sounds like a good idea to me." Rylis replies.

And I agree - we have no idea what the Rebels are going to do. If anything, for that matter.

Okay, Ulrand is the boss here. 😎

(Yeah, I'll leave deployment as it is. We probably don't even need both squads, considering the air power, or lack thereof, that the Osokans posses.)

"Alright, sounds like plan."

"Of course it is, I came up with it."

Arvus switches on the Needle's weapons systems, ready to go patrolling with Ulrand's TIE. The white, needle-shaped craft speeds almost soundlessly alongside the TIE fighters, by comparison with the screeching of the TIE engines.

Nidar has been surveying the port in the city. One of his aides reports further activity, and a launch.

The Rebel ships again?

We should have just kept Ulrand up there with his squads oh well it was Esgabeth's direct order for it.

Well, shouldn`t the AT-AT`s surround the artillery, since they have better defences against attack from the air?

AT-ATs are fairly useless as air defence, you know. They have no fast tracking guns; they are only any good at shooting things coming right at them.

Well, at least they can be used as a shields, though AT is more valuable than some outdated artillery.... By the way, what was Atar`s opinion on Coll`s plan B, if we lose the artillery? Does he think it could suceed in our time limit?

And I hope Army is just reaching the city.

"It is of no consequence," General Coll says, his hands folded behind his back as he looks out the AT-AT's viewport, into the jungle below. "As Commodore Nidar stated, they are buzzing little gnats performing scouting runs. Besides, Ulrand and his squadrons will handle this."

Coll shifts to his comlink.

"All Armored Transports, prepare to fire."

"Who're they sending this time?" Arvus laughs. "Nobody interesting, I'm sure..."
