USH'S ORIGINAL TRILOGY GAME EPISODE I 'LANZAR'- Imperial Thread

Started by Ushgarak372 pages

Vessels on scope are two fighters and a trader.

They are headed for orbit.

"You're probably right, Arvus, but I sure as hell wish I hadn't come down here. You wanna come up and join the fight, or remain down here with the army?"

The 95th TIE Interceptor Squadron (the one in space) will brace itself for the apparent oncoming assault of the Rebels.

If the 96th and 97th are in any position to pursue, then they will do so.

(Aaand I decided to number the squadrons.)

Well, we should consider the fact that they may want us to leave Army unguarded. Though I don`t think that Rebels can have that many ships....

Ush, Last Laugh cannot be this trader, this is impossible?

(Yeah, I meant to leave at least one.)

Should I leave one down, or two?

If one, Ulrand's 96th will go up. 97th will remain down.

Otherwise, Ulrand will throw his faith in the flyboys of the 95th, hoping they alone can take care of the threat.

Well, you are in charge, and I am not sure. If Arvus and Rylis are staying, you can take one and pursue, I think, because one squadron may be not enough for three ships, since we saw the abilities of Rebels already. The important thing is not to get too outmanouvred, I think.

Edit- perhaps not pursue immediately?

(Yeah, I like the idea of waiting a little, to see what they might be trying to do.)

Alright: Pending Final Plan

95th prepares for attack.
96th and 97th remain with the army for the time being.

Where are YOU going, though? 😛

Coll watches, anticipating a showdown.

"I think I'll remain down," Arvus says. "As much fun as a space battle sounds, I'm just about the worst pilot there is. I intend to land once the Army reaches the edge of the jungle."

"Alright, then." After a pause, Ulrand continues, "Well, you'll still have my company for a liitle while, I've decided to stay down 'till I figure out exactly what the Rebs are doin'."

Ulrand's 96th

(By that I meant that's the one he flies with, so, for the moment at least, I stay down.)

Sorry for the confusion. 😛

No worries, just making sure. Ush might have asked.

(By the way, Ulrand, I noticed you have a Pilot Ally Merit. Is he your wingman?)

"Well this looks interesting," Janthis says.

Yeah, I know. 😄

And Melkor, I think you were looking at Dark Dethbringer's old character in the Imperial Records thread. Thrak's not yet up in there.

(Yes, I indeed confused them, sorry.)

(No problem.)

"What can they possibly hope to achieve?" Coll says, responding to Janthis.

"It could be a number of things. They could be trying to sneak some people off of the world. Like Drakkon or that Senator guy. They could be trying to take our attentions off of something else."

The army is less than half an hour from the edge of the jungle, in fact.

Ush is my Spidey Sense tingling

"You know General when attacking an Enemy you want to do so when they are at their weakest and most vulnerable while you are at your strongest. When will be at our weakest and them be at their strongest?"

Nah, you're a ground hog. Nothing is tingling.

Enemy ships (confirmed- not the Last Laugh. What a silly question! It was shot down) are on an intercpet course for the orbitting TIEs.
