"Now, that wasn't so hard, was it?" Rylis smirks, lowering her blaster but still leaving it out. "Want to start talking, then? We want to know where those funds are going. And we wanted to know five minutes ago."

He speaks fast and desperately.

"It's always been the way here that each Guild takes care of itself... Drakkon's changed all that! He's taken the money from the Lodges because he is taking control of defence for the whole planet! They don't want to lose the money but Drakkon's certain it's going to come to a fight and they seem ok with him being the one to prepare against it! That's all I know! And we only know that because Drakkon must have spent the money already because there is NO cash left on this world!"

All senior Imperials should also remember their Ties to Imperial Command. There is always a structure ready to back you.

Hmm, can I consult with someone in Imperial Command regarding the news Nidar received?

I'm afraid you're the exception on that one, Melkor, so they'll just delay if you ask them anything.

So I can`t do anything until we reach Lanzar? I am likely to appear weak if I contact Tarkin now? My character will never admit weakness.

As ever, that depends what you ask him.

First I need to have a plan...

I assume I can always speak with my gifted and fair adiutant. Does she think that one of two unknown Senators could aid us to gain favor with Emperor?

Are there any precedences when Empire military invaded in similar situation before?

What if I contacted Emperor himself?

She doesn't have any particularly useful information on those Senators beyond that already given.

And not when the Senate was present, no. The most immediate reason ever used for Imperial attack was retaliation.

Arvus looks to Rylis after the man belts out the information.

"Very interesting," Arvus says.

So is there any way to shut down the generator?

Guys, try and find out what he spent it on, though I doubt you'll suceed. Maybe try and find if there's any Osokan only areas of the city, or planet.

Oh great. How did I just know that Nidar was up to something.

Suddenly Trebeis felt a tad less sure about the Operation. The stakes are much higher at this point. If that Bastard Nidar wants someone to go down if anything goes wrong, it will inevitably be ME! The Captain Thought, then continued with his musing My only hopes now, are that if anything DOES happen... That I'll be prepared to deal with it in turn. Or, if the Commodore were to make an early mistake, I might be able to convince the Commissar to replace him. With me perhaps? Yes, then indeed the tables would be turned.... And a REAL Officer would then be in charge of this operation.....

Aboard the bridge of the Deviator, Tension was high. The Captain had been standing at the same console, clutching the edge- For nearly an hour. Finally, lifting his hands from the monitor, Trebeis noticed the damage. There were Deep, long gouge marks in the top. Pooled inside was blood. Looking at his hands, he noticed that he had torn the nails from their beds as he ground them against the hard alloy.

The crew had noticed his odd behavior, but simply ignored it. They did not want to incur the man's wrath.

Summoning an aid, he once again contacted his Senatorial Contact.

"If such a case were to arise in which the Commodore were to try to pin the blame on me, would there be any courses of action I could take to avoid a rather unpleasant fate?"

I'm afraid you used the Contact already, Trebeis, and that was his reply. Anything else you ask him will have to wait.

And of course you'll be blamed first- your area of responsibility is that part that includes Lanzar City. He made very sure of that.

As for the shield generator- yeah. Blow it to pieces.

OOC: Damnit.

There's a reason Nidar has risen like he has. I'd think very hard about anything he does that appears to be stupid.

Commander Janthis keeps his troops keen on there mission as much as he can.
He has his troops practicing valuable formations to aid them in combat. Makes sure they remember who there paired with for this mission.
Janthis thinks to himself,This is crazy even battled hardened men can't stay this focused for long they are gonna either have to be deployed as soon as we arrive or given a day or two to relax
Then he walks over to on of his squad that has been doing poorly with the formations and starts personally drilling them marching alongside. Showing them how it is done first hand. A man no matter what his age must lead by example.

Okay then, I guess that's not really an option.

About the streets in general - what sort of weaponry are people carrying about? Anything clearly military?

Next, find out about Drakkon himself, see how feasible it is to get close to him.

No, nothing clearly military at all. Doing this takes up most of your remaining time.

"Yes Commadore." He states and walks out teh door after he finished saluting, He wlaked out and over to his quarters t begin planning teh situation

So, any plans, then? 😛
