Why wouldn't he inherit the full power of the Juggernaut? If you have some type of evidence to support your stance I'll understand but Cytorrak whipped out the Crimson Gem and even said the classic chant

In New Excalibur, it was explained that when a Juggernaut becomes apostate, another Juggernaut is chosen, but neither are at full power. They are in a weakened state so that one can prove himself and kill the other to claim the full power.

Was that the arc where the Juggernaut was casting spells and so on?

I'm just curious. In regards to the topic at hand, I think it's pretty clear that Colossus received the full power of Juggernaut. I'll change my stance if new evidence comes to light but Cytorrak removed any power Cain Marko had that came from him, manifested the Crimson Gem and empowered Colossus to illustrate his true power, spread his name etc. I forget what Magik said exactly.

It was said in New Excalibur. He was on that team prior to the WWH: X-men fight.

Also, Cain was not a full power when he became one of the worthy. It's been said in a few handbooks dealing with when he was depowered the first time, that Cain still has some of the Juggernaut power due to years of exposure to it. I thinking even after Colossus became the new Juggernaut, Cain still had some of that power.

Iight.

Okay?Cain obviously still possessed a decent chunk of Cytorrak's power during his stay on Thunderbolts but wasn't at his classic levels due to his actions as Captain Universe. I never denied any of this. Cytorrak recognized Cain as a traitor, denied him as his avatar and we even saw his power leave Cain. If there's any power left, it's a drop in the bucket in comparison.

Meh, all I know is that Colossus as Juggernaut is pretty weaksauce. ermm

Well, yeah...

I don't understand the big deal. Colossus was already very strong, and now he's even more stronger, and everybody is going crazy.

I just don't get it. I think it's a lame idea, they should have chosen somebody else.

I liked it. It was a nice but interesting twist.

You can be stronger, faster, more powerful etc. but it doesn't matter because nothing can stop the Juggernaut. The sheer brutality of the scene is also something I enjoyed.

Based on?

Marvel Team Up v1 150 and New Excalibur.

We'll have to wait and see what happens in Thunderbolts unless they plan on making Cain an unviable character. The only counterpoint here is that Cain didn't exibit any unstoppable forcefield after Cyttorak removed his blessing...so it could very well mean that Cain lost all of it.

colossus should be stronger than superman imo

LOL so that's why you hate superman so much because Colossus is not the "Man of steel". 😆

Hes not evil, if you read the comic he was very loyal to cyclops at the end, he is still part of the xmen,

Look what i found 😄

Im sorry but u guys are wrong about Colossus losing the fight againt Worthy Marko. Re-look at the fight without reading the captions. WM only gets 2 hits in and they do nothing to slow down Colossus. Colossus is beating WM into a pulp. Don`t let colossus`s low self esteemed thoughts convince you. .

I happen to agree with that take. But people are always going to have inconsistent positions regarding panel statements depending on their rooting interests.
