Yikes. Who's that?
Going by the review, it appears Hickman has something big planned for the Starbrand. But knowing him, he'll phuck it up spectacularly.
They aren't in order.
It's a robot they kept in a pod and AIM awoke him IIRC
He panicked when he saw Thor and Hype and kept stating he was upgrading. Then he won.
Also, Starbrand isn't allowed to break out of the Dyson Sphere until he gains full control of his powers. Though the Dyson Sphere never did actually have the power to contain him
And let's all hold hand and pray Thanos ends the entire threat though. And I mean everything.

One of Hickman's creations. It's from Avengers 16. There were more scans on CBR Forums (the Avengers section) but they seem to be down (the pictures that is). I found that in my cache and reposted it here.Going by the review, it appears Hickman has something big planned for the Starbrand. But knowing him, he'll phuck it up spectacularly.

Thank ya both 👆
I saw some stuff from Fearless Defenders 6 and the only thing I can say is F@CK MARVEL and their depiction of "gods". I hope Gor f@ckin kills every last one of those worthless puny "divine" title bearers.
Laughable and vomit inducing.
Both descriptions are apt.
Can Pak or Loeb (yes f@ckin Loeb) write Ares and the Greek "gods" exclusively or something?
F@ckin Marvel.
Also in JL Katana sliced Wonder Woman's sword in half

What exactly annoyed you about Fearless Defenders? I mean in #6 we saw Val stomp loads of heroes, surely that's a good showing for a god (Or at least god related, not sure if Val counts as a god)? And Warrior Woman has been pretty awesome so far.

The fact the the FRIGGIN GOD OF WAR is treated as a chum to make some WW knock offs look good.
Ares should be able to decimate that lineup, if MARVEL had any idea about how to properly represent godhood.
You yourself said it.
"Not sure if she count's as a god".

Oh no we're talking about different issues, you mean in the AoU tie in where Hippolyta fought Ares? In issue six which came out last week Valkyrie stomped a massive line-up of heroes (the fight I was on about). That being said, not only does Hippolyta have her own powers she's been amped by Hela since her resurrection, so her beating Ares isn't a huge stretch (especially as he's never been that impressive anyway).

I'm not screaming at you dude...
BUT THAT"S THE POINT!
How in the world is the LIVING EMBODIMENT OF WAR such a pushover?
Also I just saw on "that other comic book forum" scans (the entire fights) of Hippolyta manhandling Ares.
And then Val stomps a lineup including Hip and Shulkie?
And I'm supposed to believe the title "god" means something at Marvel?
As for Hela empowering her.
So what?
DC Ares killed Hades and took his domain as his own (preboot).
Gods should be able to fight each other in some effective capacity (and every one else not named Hulk or Hyperion or Sentry etc etc should be far beneath them - I'm only counting up to heralds), but in Marvel it seems every Amazon, Valkyrie, Shieldmaiden, etc can take out Gods.
I mean look at the friggin Siege and tell me that the Asgardians seemed "godly" against such heavy weights as Mister X and the goons Osborn gathered.

Always annoyed me as well. The God of War shouldnt be just another medium level superhuman.
Thank you man.
That's what I'm saying.
The Siege should be like "OK Osborn you really brought some metas on our front lawn? Que epic Asgardian show of power, fight over in 2 seconds"
But obviously they need Quicksilver and Cap smashing his shield in Osborn's face to win it.
And that goes for all the Marvel pantheons.
