It's a critically acclaimed (and not just by Thorbags) series and easily one of the best books published by either major company. Virtually everyone who's actually been following it, either from any of my LCSs or online, have had nothing but good things to say about it. In fact, the only people I know of who don't care for it are people of already suspect taste and intelligence.
Off-Topic, but Jake are you familiar with Link from Zelda?

Yeah.

I'm not a hardcore fan or expert or anything, but I know about the LoZ franchise.

Its almost as good as Spawn: Godslayer

Almost.

Dialogue in the last issue partially turned me off.

Gorr's son and the whole thing with his wife was so weird...

Last issue was a bit weak imo. #10 and #6 were the weakest so far but the run overall has been really good. Can't wait for the finale, hope it's the best issue.

Hulk vs. Thor Heroes Reborn Round 1:

Hulk vs. Thor Heroes Reborn Round 2:

Terrible dialogue and kind of weird how Thor is incapable of even walking without Mjolnir at his side but I paid so little attention to Heroes Reborn so that might really be a thing.

Was Alternate Thor supposed to have won in that first part? Or was Hulk not down long enough? Also good God, Lifield...

LOL@Hulk's black feet in round 1

From what I can tell, Thor left Hulk for dead and began digging out Captain America but the Hulk recovered. Kind of weird how he resorted to fists if only one lightning bolt was enough to give him the "win" but whatever, comics.

Thor has the advantage with Mjolnir and Hulk has the advantage in pure hand to hand when very angry. Hardly surprising.

Barring the horrible art that was a good fight, and well executed IMHO. Shame they don't fight like that in the main universe anymore. Usually 2 or 3 hits and thats it.

Sounds like he let the Hulk bait him imto going hand to hand. Thanks for posting, it had been a really long time since I'd seen that comic. Iirc, that Thor has a fight with the real Thor also.

Phucking Liefeld.

I'd have liked for Thor to hold out longer in pure hand to hand but oh well, Hulk caught him slipping.

Yeah, it's sad that historically in their fights, Hulk has been tactically superior. Always pressing the advantage, distracting Thor with civilian safety and trying to separate him from the hammer etc.
