IMO Thats a tad lame, seeing as we are on a Comic Book VS Forum ! .... If you want to get all wound up thats fine, but i wont withstrain my laughter 😉
Maybe 'technicality' is the wrong word ....Superman has two weaknesses, being able to exploit them does not necessarily mean the character is more powerful. It does mean the character is likely to win any form of confrontation.
My original point still stands, although it has once again been thrown completely out of context (no surprises their 🙄 )
If Superman was to fight the Silver Surfer in a H2H combat, including energy blasts, Superman would win ! 🙂 🙂 🙂

No .... photon was not exploiting Sentrys weaknesses , if he had created a wormhole into the watch tower basement and sent Sentry their to fight the void, that would have been in the same category ! 🙂

Speed is a convenience for characters, which is only used when it is necessary for the plot .... I'll admit, SS Surfer has no chance of beating Supes, so it may become an necessity ! 😉

supes can't take more then a few shots from the surfer especially ones that are capable of destroying planets.

the hammer has magical properties so they wouldn't have the same effect when hitting someone.
Surfer has indeed enough power to destroy planets(In his fight with morg they came very close without even wanting to destroy it). 😄

From what i remember they head but each other and there's a flash of light .... see what i mean by ambiguous !
In Surfers most recent run, he clearly shows that he isn't at at planet destroying level ! 🙂

That is the case when used against physically normal substances, but we are talking about the Surfer who is made from the power cosmic, I'm pretty sure this negates the magic effect !
