Notice how the spikes on his boots and his gauntlet are now shiny and metally-like. This isn?t by accident. In an interview I read, the artist said that before, they were like bones, and scattered in every direction. If you saw them you?d know if you got hit by that gauntlet it?d slice you in 12 different ways. It was very representative of chaos and Hell. Now?not so much

In his mind, Forsberg is in his own Hell. It?s a jungle filled with zombie and skeleton soldiers. All the soldiers that ever died in wars. They hunt the two.

You remember Twitch?s oldest son Max got into that whole The Kingdom vampire deal? Well, he was turning into one, but it wasn?t finished. He?s not dead, but not alive either. Somewhere in between. And he?s disappeared since that whole ordeal. When Twitch realizes the John Doe the police arrested a few days ago is Al Simmons who is Spawn, he attacks him. Spawn doesn?t want to hurt him. He knows everything he did before was wrong and wants to help Twitch find his son.

Meanwhile, Wynn (with the influence of the clown aka violator) asks for a high-class prostitute. He wants her to look like Wanda. He?s starting to go on a killing spree of young black women (that look like Wanda). A sort of ?payback? to Spawn.

Spawn ponders what happened to Wynn. He knows there?s something out there, he can feel it through his empathy, but he can?t tell exactly what it is (it?s the Violator?s presence).

While Spawn is asleep, Nyx decides to perform a ritual to journey to the spirit world. She meets Mammon, who basically tells her Thea?s soul is in Hell. (Thea was the girl a while back that could see who would die and was afraid of Spawn. She was a childhood friend of Nyx apparently).
Now?.when Nyx gave Spawn his power back, she kept a thread of his cape. A connection she had to him. Mammon?s basically making Nyx an offer to give him that power she has over Spawn and he?ll ?release? Thea.

Issue #134:

This is the first issue in a story arc called ?A Thousand Clowns? that ends in Issue 138.

Nyx wants to know what Hell is like. Spawn says he can?t tell her. But he can ?show? her. He uses his telepathy to give her the smallest faintest impression of what Hell is like.
