Just as the title of the issue says, this is the first Milestone. This issue marks the end of the First Age, and the beginning of the Second Age.
Spawn having found out it was Malebolgia that hired Ab and Zab to open up the portal releasing Urizen so that he could usurp the power of the other Hell Lords while they were away fighting Heaven and he could become the supreme ruler of Hell. Spawn gets pretty pissed off.

What?s important about this issue?
Everything. Why? Because:
- Spawn finally gets to kill his maker, Malebolgia. This has a LOT of ramifications, the most important one being detailed in Issue 120, when the Second Age comes to its quick end.
- In defeating Malebolgia, Spawn not only is granted a crapload of power, but he is also able to use that power without further fear of depletion and therefore servitude.
- He does indeed kill Malebolgia, the leader of the 8th level, the Malebolge?That DOESN?T mean however that he has killed the Devil.
- He does indeed kill Malebolgia, but it?s a Malebolgia that has no support from the other lords of Hell. A Malebolgia that has been weakened by heavenly weapons and lightning, etc. etc.
- That having been taken into consideration, he is still supreme ruler and almost omnipotent in his own realm.
All in all, what Spawn did was incredible. However?not as awesome as some people (I?m looking at you Spawnrules) would have you think. I love Spawn. The devotion I?ve put into making this thread, into sharing all these scans with you guys, into getting + hosting + simply typing up and explaining every single page and aspect of these posts has been incredibly draining.
Why have I done this, and why do I continue to do this? Again, because I love the character, and I hate seeing people dislike, ignore or underrate him simply because one or two die-hard fanboys with the spelling abilities of a dyslexic 5 year-old.
Issue #101:
Spawn is still shaken up about what?s just happened. He goes to visit Grandma Blake (who he?s visited many times since he became Spawn. She believes he?s an angel). Not much feat wise, but some nice stuff character wise.

Again, not much Spawn-wise. This, however will be quite important in future issues. Mammon the demon lord stalks a girl. The girl has a special power that allows her to see who?s going to die soon (she sees their skeletons instead of bodies). He harasses her until she decides to give her soul to him for ?protection? from Spawn. She thinks Spawn is trying to kill her. In truth, he?s using his empathic powers to find her so he can protect her. Very tragic and very awesome issue.

Issue #103:
A guy called Eric is some Wall-street hotshot. He?s loaded with money and a rabid collector of antiques. However he loves having one-of-a-kinds. He starts collecting Nazi items. He buys an extremely expensive Nazi golden lamp with a rose drawing on it and a layer of skin. Spawn visits him during one night showing him how the lamp came to exist.
Basically what happens here is that while the guy?s sleeping, Spawn shows up. He influences his dream and shows him the past. The EXACT past. As in no, he doesn?t ?manufacture? or alter Eric?s dreams. Spawn shows him the past in his dream, so that he can see what happened. The main character in his dream looks just like him, because his understanding is limited.

Issue #104:
A couple of kids in Malice, Pennsylvania are playing around the 5 monoliths. They don?t know those are the remnants of what was Urizen (in the physical way). One of the boys, Preston, cuts himself with a very small piece of the rock by accident. An ounce of Urizen?s power seeps into him. From there on he became incredibly cruel, as did his brothers. He saw what happened to Urizen, he got some telepathic powers, etc. On Halloween night he and his brothers kidnap a boy and threaten to kill him. Having sensed even that infinitely small portion of Urizen?s power, Spawn comes in. As he does, the power automatically changes the boy into an enormous beast that battles Spawn.
