It's not just strength and speed.. it's DURABILITY.. STAMINA.. REFLEXES... This is like Hulk going h2h with Daredavil... Sure he's more skilled, but eventually when Hulk grabs him or punches him.. it's over. Same thing here except the gap in skill isn't nearly as large.. in fact.. it's practially non-existent

Batman didn't really stalemate PC Karate Kid. For one, the man was in a coma and still managed to get the better of Batman. After all Val was able to take Batman's utility belt from him and Val didn't have the use of his memory. He thought he was a villain at the time.
