i'm not switching around, i have had wolverine, cyke, colossus, aurora, and phantazia since my first match.

It's just that Mimic can only have 5 powers and he isn't able to drop Deadpool's powers, you've had him using:

and during drafting, i was told for mimic i could start with whatever powers he has used in the past, so i chose wolverine, cyke, beast, colossus, and northstar. so during my prep on the first round i switched aurora and phantazia for beast and northstar. so now i have aurora, phantazia, cyke, wolverine, and colossus.

now that that is straightened out -- does everyone start in separate rooms? i ask because it's important for distance. if you're in separate rooms you may be almost a 1/4 mile apart, given room sizes and hallways. can phantazia operate over that distance and through walls? noit harping on her, but if IM is shut down immediately, that's an imortant factor to know. if she can't get him immediately, he may be able to mount an offense that could turn this fight.

well dizzle said that the hallways were short, and magneto always had a very long range when affecting em fields, and so did storm and polaris. now phantazia isn't on magneto or polaris level, but she's above storm. yeah, she can operate through force-fields, so walls should be no problem. also, no defense that tony could mount would be able to stand up to phantazia. i'm not trying to bash tony or anything, but seriously...it's been stated he needs hundreds of workers to check his suit from mission to mission.

well, iof no one has anything to show the contrary, i'll assume she CAN affect him. if IM does go down that quick, that puts rr at a big disadvantge. hey scoob, you see how easy it was for IM to be taken out? i can hear the wheel turning already . . . 😄

well......to be honest isn't 616 iron-man immune to things like this? well storm knocked him down with an emp during the gamma series, so there's room for speculation. nah, j/k i'm pretty sure he is immune to those in the 616. and grey fox, i've made comments about storm 3 times so far...told you it was a good bet.

yeah, it was pointed out that i could use any of the powers mimic had ever used, so i picked beast, northstar, cyke, wolverine, and colossus. during prep in my last match i switched beast and northstar for phantazia and aurora. also, while I'm here on the ray site you provided it says that he was easily beaten by batman, so i doubt he will be a lot of trouble for my team.

Batman's beaten The Hulk and Superman - Ray's in good company, whatever the circumstance.

Yeah, Mimic doesn't have to be current, SF's taking him from the time before he copied DP. It's cool.

And the battlefield is 2 very large rooms, connected by short hallways. In total, they WOULD be more than a quarter mile apart... 2000 feet, to be exact. Something like this...

yeah, he beat them with pis and cis. under normal circumstances, he wouldn't stand a chance. and i can still compete with the size of the battlefield.

It was PIS and CIS that GL Kyle Rayner tried to fist-fight Deathstroke - instead of using his ring to throw him off the planet - and got his ass handed to him. Whatever Ray did in that issue, he had the same brain cramp, to be kicked by Bats - but Bats has the God-kick, doesn't he? 🙄

I suppose we should be thankful neither Batman nor Wolverine is here. Ohhh, I would be drowned in scans by my opponent...

hey, pis and cis are allowed in this tourney, so the ray being beaten by batman is completley legel...seriously, he won't be a match for my team.

CIS, yes. PIS, no. You can try, but Batman beating Ray is pretty freaking heavy PIS. You won't be penalized for PIS, but it's still not valid.

but pis was used in the very first match of the tourney, and even if it wasn't allowed, wouldn't it be considered cis instead? many consider spider-man beating firelord cis, so what would the difference be here? and aren't cis and pis basically the same thing? if cis happens, then basically it would be pis also for the plot.

PIS is when something happens that shouldn't. Someone "forgets" they have an ability, someone's abilities get dumbed down to fight a weaker opponent, someone's abilities get blown out of proportion to beat a stronger opponent, etc. It usually involves going outside of a character's personality or intelligence and power ranges.

CIS means that someone loses because of an IN character restriction, like Superman's code against killing, or Absorbing Man trading brains with his ball and chain. If someone drafted an uber pacifist, it would be ok to argue that they wouldn't touch your teammates, and if someone is too stupid to understand attack strategies, a complex plan can be all but disregarded. CIS is in character, PIS is not. If you try to use PIS and someone calls you on it, the forum rules still apply. (PIS is to be disregarded)

So PIS won't get you penalized, but it makes you look bad, and the feats aren't any more valid here than they are anywhere else.
