great game. i was surprised that Croatia did that well.they just need to work on the offensive portion. solid team.
brazil was suppose to do so much better.
i was surprised at Croatia too. I knew it wouldnt be an easy game, but the team (specially on the second half) was really good.
Ronaldo did NOTHING, absolutely nothing but walk on the field...Adriano was really bad too. I only liked Kaka, Ronaldinho Gaúcho and Dida...

Yep, definitely not their best. Ronaldo seemed out of it, so did Adriano, from what I saw (I couldn't see the game).Great goal though.

he's not been 'in it' all season, i dont know why they still pick him... guess its like the Rooney thing, there'd be outrage if they didnt.
could've dropped Ronaldo, brought in either Fred or Juninho Pernambucano

Agreed I would have taken off Ronaldo and Adriano at half time.. and brought on Robinio and Fred.

Before his calf injury at the beginning of the year, he had about 12 goals from 15 games. That's pretty 'on it'.
Personally, I love watching Robinho play; he seems to float on the grass as he runs...

I have to put a ditto on that.. Robinho is a great player.. he should start the next game.
On that display, i'd say Brazil are very beatable, was not impressed in the slightest, although you cannot argue that the quality of Kaka's goal was simply breathtaking, though they seem to have the same weaknesses I have always said they have.....poor defensively
Even if they win their next two group games 7-0, atleast now we know they can have off-days, and ofcourse it's gonna happen, no one can be constantly brilliant, although I was impressed more by England, Italy, Czech Republic and Argentina than I was by Brazil on first impressions
Ronaldo has fat man syndrome, that's why he was so crappy
There was more creativity and imagination from Brazil than anything produced by England so far. As for their weakness, you have to remember that they actually only play with 2 defenders, so - *understatement alert* - defense isn't their focus. Their commitment to attack is something to be admired. If only England tried to aspire to the same beautiful philosophy...
Oh, and who was it who said Ukraine were a team to watch?
Tee-hee-hee.

brazil win most of there games because people fear to attack against them. most teams are beat before they get onto the pitch, they look at brazil and think' jee this is going to be hard''
to beat brazil, you have to play with no fear, you have to give as good as you get and defend better than they do which is extremely possible. i think teams will show no fear this time around, and brazil will struggle more
Brazil vs Croatia game was good because Croatia played a well defensive game and Brazil didnt look to creative at times. When Kaka took the shot I wasnt expecting that to go in because it seemed like a weak shot. As for Ronaldo I would have started Robinho instead of him, Ronaldo wasnt even sweating when he came off. Robinho lifted the team spirit and after he came in they had more chances on net.
