I think saying Ronaldo is worse than Crouch is a bit over the top, but then again, Krunk'd is a secret Crouch fan as I've suspected all along.
A fit Ronaldo is still a steam train, but at the moment he looks like a barge with a leak in it. Crouch is hot, though...Have you seen him dance? So hot.

I don't think they're that bad. They're winning games. The problem is, they're held in such high esteem that if they don't destroy teams they get attacked. Not to mention other teams try that extra bit harder against them, as often happens to the favourites in any competition.
Yeah, I get that feeling, too. However, I'm desperate to see the Samba rhythm start beating properly. I don't want them to limp through the tournament. Same goes for England, but we dance to a different beat...Techno? House? Gabba?

As for Ronaldo, he's certainly not playing like he normally does, but then neither is Ronaldinho. Although apparently he is officially past it, and Owen is officially 'warming up'. At this rate Newcastle will certainly benefit from him coming to the boil in about February.
Yeah, it's weird how so many of the world's 'top' strikers haven't really performed yet at the World Cup. Early days, I guess...

Ze Roberto is playing great because he's having to deal with counter attacks, and they are plentiful at the moment. Kaka is playing well because he is the least shackled of the 'Fab Four'.
Those two have been great. I used to think Ze Roberto was a winger, but he looks so comfortable in the defensive midfield position. Kaka manages to float around the pitch. Also, I think Robinho has been excellent every time he comes on. He's really trying to impress, so sometimes he looks a little selfish, but he's a fantastic player.

I think playing Robinho from the start would be foolish, he doesn't get much first team football for club...
You're a bit ridiculous, aren't you? Only Casillas and Ramos played more games than him for Real Madrid last season.
You're welcome to voice your opinion, but don't shout it out from La-la land. It makes you look silly.
Italy to win? Well...not too sure what I can say there.
I think Argentina will win it to be honest, but I want Brazil to win. Otherwise, Germany are sly ones, maybe even Holland on the outside.

Not really. Past his prime? Yes. Past being a great player off the back of two games? No. Raul has been shit for years, so let's bear in mind that he plays for the same team as Ronaldo and isn't favoured anywhere near as much, nor does he perform as well.
Ronaldo scored prolifically in the warm up games and ironically that pic you posted was from a tournament when he was one of the best players in it, certainly one of the highest goal scorers.
Maybe you could post a picture of David Beckham looking remarkable picturesque and in shape, if it makes you feel better. It doesn't change the fact that the "fat" Ronaldo powerhoused through England along with Rivaldo in 2002.

A) Look up the term bigot, you moron. By supporting Brazil I'm defying any kind of bigotry. Way to make yourself look stupid.
B) Ronaldo's lost it? Off the back of what? Two games and the France 98 final? He played in 2002 and was one of the best players in the whole tournament, he's scored many goals in the warm ups as previously said.
He's not in his prime anymore, but that doesn't mean he has lost it, he's still performed well recently. Raul hasn't, for a long time.

You're intolerance towards the opinions of others....God forbid anyone attempting to state the facts about ronaldo's recent displays. Not gonna waste my breath arguing with a bigoted bigot such as yourself.
Ronaldo's a fat, lost it, shadow of his former self.
Raul has not turned to pies yet.

Bigotry is an overwhelming preference of one's own race and intolerance of anyone who disagrees.
I'm English. Take care now, and don't let the door hit you on the way out.

It's hilarious when you accuse me of intolerance and bigotry, only to continually berate a man for being "fat", when he isn't actually "fat" at all. He's almost definitely in better shape than anyone currently browsing this thread, he's had two bad games. He has been scoring for Real Madrid, scoring for Brazil, all recently. The latter more so.
So basically, the only thing you have to put Raul above Ronaldo is "He ain't fat." In which case I suggest you shove your own face into a pie, humble pie, instead of showing yourself up here even further.
Idiot.

I fail to see anything "ridiculous" or "silly" about my opinions
It's one thing playing a full ninety in the La Liga, it's alot more demanding to do so at international level
It seems you're coming down to a level of insulting me, why?? Because my opinions do not match yours?? I am not in La-La land, I am in a more realistic world than you are, so don't have a pop everytime I voice an opinion, I will voice my opinions from the rooftop if needs be

If Raul is past it, then surely Ronaldo is too, me, Mr Savonty, Deano and whoever else said it are not alone in thinking this, Ian Wright has described his performances so far in the world cup as "embarassing", plus Real Madrid aren't exactly kicking arses to keep him, whereas they would've a couple of years back, he is not the force he was, a blind man could see that
I don't want to enter into a war of words with you, as you are very entitled to give your take on anything, I respect that you have an independant view on it, but as of this writing Raul has more goals than Ronaldo, he is clearly very passionate about his country and is making the most of his last chance to lift the world cup with Spain
Ronaldo is giving a "ahhhh i've won this cup twice before, who cares if we win it again??" kinda attitude
With that being said, Mr Savonty was the biggest Ronaldo fan I know when he was a world beater, and it would take alot to change his mind into saying Ronaldo has lost it, I agree that to a degree he has "lost it", but we could also say maybe it's the excellent form Ronaldo has hit in the past that has made his lacklustre performances even more pounced on by critics, but I will never let it be said that when he hits form he isn't the best player in the world, or a close second
As for earlier on saying he's scored more recently than Rooney, that may be true, but Rooney is more of a forward than an out and out striker, therefore his chances of scoring are restricted, and to say I think he is "Jesus" is a ludacris remark to make, he would walk into any Brazil side, and if he were Brazilian, me thinks you'd sing a totally different tune, I defend him the way you have Robinho and Ronaldo

I only insult an opinion when it is a ridiculous one. Your opinion had no basis in reality, so offered some thoughts on how you could correct this. If I wasn't specific, let me correct myself: YOU NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT, SILLY BOY.
I wasn't shouting then, I was just speaking loudly.
Welcome.

we are not talking about the 2002 ronaldo, rivaldo, or beckham.
we are on about the present, ronaldo is past it and i think past being a great player. he may show glimpes of his former self now and again but thats about it

Ian Wright is a blind-eyed patriot, and the rest of you are just putting forth rather lame opinions. Not so much Deano, he just doesn't think Ronaldo is up to par, he hasn't been as quick to rabidly write the man off. Mr. Savonty is an idiot who evidently has problems with...well, anything, and you aren't exactly on top of your logic game are you?
Raul has been past it for years. In those years, Ronaldo has been a prolific goalscorer for club and country.

He has more goals because he was the Shevchenko of Spain. He was never, ever dropped, he was always fed the ball ahead of any other player. Goals are goals, but he's never played as good or as impressively as Ronaldo when he is on form (not necessarily in his prime). Being passionate about your country doesn't mean anything, at all. Beckham could fly the flag all day long, it doesn't mean he should be there ahead of Lennon.

Oh so he's a glory fan? To think, people called me a glory hunter, then Savonty ditches Ronaldo when he's no longer at his best. That's exactly what VVD was talking about with the English press. I like Ronaldo and I'll always admit when he doesn't play as good, but I'd never just stop liking him off the back of two games.
Being a big fan doesn't make you a knowledgeable fan, by the way. He could be Ronaldo's secret boyfriend, it wouldn't mean he knows more or that his opinions are more credible.

I like Rooney, I think he's a great player, but just like everyone else with a remote bit of "promise" in this country, he gets overpraised and overrated.
I don't think he'd walk into the Brazil side and for that matter, Ronaldo at his best, or even in 2002, was making chances for himself out of thin air by beating three, sometimes four players at a time. He's not just an out and out striker.

Hahaha, yes, it certainly seems so right now doesn't it?
Or are you going by the whole "On paper", "England are warming up", "Germany have it easy" rationale...again?
Germany are clearly the better team, let's not get stupid. I recognise the instilled German xenophobia may be bubbling up in you, but come on.
