a lot better performance by england. kept possesion well, passed to feet, less long balls. overall a much better performance

im glad Owen Hargreaves is getting a full game.Gives him a chance to show what he can do, he has made lots of tackles and he is allowing lampard the freedom to go forward.

I feel really sorry for michael owen. Hopefully it isnt as bad as it looks. England might suffer without him in later stages.

LEo had better play Russel Latapy in the second half, our " little magician" should get a play. He was on the same squad as Yorke in 1989, when we one match from qualifying.

Gloating over a win against a weak nation with only 1 good striker. I wouldnt be surprised if Sweden plays the same way they did against England and then some.

That's England though, not Germany.

I love the way everyone's assuming it'll be easy against Ecuador. It may be, but it may not be. They've proven they can play extremely well.

What a class match. Both teams played to win and I liked that. I think the real loser at the end of this was still Sweden, I wouldn't want to face Germany right now as hot as they are and with the home field and all.

What a game in the midfield for Ljungberg, that man really is world class. Wish he would of scored tho, that yellow card on him was bollocks, lost pts with that, f*ck! Joe Cole was MOM is this game. He's been the most consistent midfielder for England thus far, wish I would have had him on my fantasy team today. Damn!

Good to see good 'ole Sol back on the pitch even if it was just for a bit. Made a couple of key stops and I was hoping he would get on the end of one of those corner kicks.

Btw, anybody else here think that Sweden plays better without Ibrahimovich?
