No, I think that she shouldn't be in the postition of having a baby at all.

When did it become okay for 13 year olds to screw and get pregnant?

Where are the moral standards?

She has a RIGHT to have sex?

Excuse me, no.

She has the right to listen to her parents and follow the rules of the world she lives in, the expectations of her school, and in return get an education and be provided for, in terms of food, clothes, a place to live, and people that love and care about her.

Stop side-stepping!

The world is on the wrong track!

Trying to say that things worse than what is going on could happen, doesn't change that what's going on in the first place shouldn't be happening.

No, the difference is that people like me won't just shut the hell up and watch the land that our grandfathers died to proctect (2 of mine in WW2) turn into the modern Soddom and Gammora without a fight.

I'm done for today.

Good day sirs.

That's really nobel. I'm sure as they were laying on some European battlefield that thought "fags will never have rights thanks to this sacrifice" And you are still a hypocrit. You still don't get the very point you made: we all have to live together.

Of course, I agree with sithsaber about thirteen year old girls should not be having sex. However, as much as we may hate it, it's still their lives to screw up.
Just think of it this way: She wouldn't have gotten pregnant if she were a lesbian. 😉

Ah yes, yes...I see.....so you are just dodging the question...nice.

Okay, once again if a thirteen year old is pregnant should she have the right to abort or should she live with it?

*sigh*

And it's now natural for a girl of thirteen to get an abortion without telling anbody in her family, while she can't go on a school field trip or recieve Tylenol from the nurse without a parents permission......

Guess you think that I should just stand by and watch the moral standards of this country go down the tubes because....

"Well hey, we are progressing past those days." (towards what destination, I often wonder)

"Thats old fashioned." (if it ain't broke, don't fix it.)

or my personal fave: "If it doesn't hurt you, it's none of your business."

BOLLOCKS.

It's my world just as much as yours, and I have family, a wife, and soon children, whose intrests I'm looking out for.

So you're debating what's natural? Do you really want to do that while wearing modern clothes and sitting at a computer, eating whatever garbage processed foods you eat? Because it would seem just a tad bit hypocritical. If you want natural, become a hermit and live in the woods.

"If it doesn't hurt you, it's none of your business" yea that's my favorite too. So, do you like it when other people intrude into your personal life and tell you what to do? How about a mob of people telling you that you're going to burn in hell for living your life? Seems a bit absurd, but that's exactly what you and yours are doing. Ironically, it's none of your ****ing business what people do with themselves, and if it's immoral that's between them and GOD, NOT YOU. Leave them the **** alone. That's what pisses me off about Christians the most out of everything. Don't try to make laws barring gays, or women, from doing whatever they hell they want as consenting adults.

Oh, and regarding that "Song of Solomon" post, King Solomon had like 2,000 wives(not that I wouldn't want 2000 wives, but then again, i'm not christian). Yea, I'm sure it's excellent to model your life after his teachings. *coughadulterycough*

😆

(Looks around). Hm, since I put Sithsabre on ignore there is no one here to debate with...

Arachnoidfreak, Bardock, Adam, Darth Jello, Capt and Imperial Samurai> Gentlemen, you will not be able to change the mind of an Ultraconservative Fundamentalist.
He'll dodge you questions, start yelling and screaming like a child, become personal and in the process waste your time.

Hopefully, however, this IS how Brokeback Mountain has affected America. Most people like it, and one extremists yell and scream...

I think I'll go see it again. Hmmmmm, Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger...

I just thought that I point out that Solomon like everyone else was human... and like all humans had his downfailings. In no way did God condone Solomon having 2000 or so wives... in fact Solomon died a misreable person.

Song of Solomon was meant to show us many things... including what not to do.

So please before you assume things about the Bible... do your research first. 😉

You're posting this from "Somewhere in Hell." Did you do your research first? 😉

As a matter of fact I did... I'm just a very odd Christian.

Of course perhaps I should move back to Earth... it is pretty damn hot down here 😛

Oh, I get it - you're a spy.

I'm not assuming anything, ten years is more than enough research. Whether or not he had his downfailings is irrelevant, he was an adulterer, for a fact. And actually just a bad person. Who decides to cut a child in half!? Would you, today, follow someone's sayings if that person announced that he had 2000 wives and once called for the execution of an innocent child?

Stick to following the teachings of Christ, he didn't sin. Forget about everyone else. Why is a sinner worth following?

I hope you don't actually think that Solomon was going to follow through with killing the baby. He said to cut the baby in half because he knew that the real mother would rather have the pretender keep the baby than have it killed.

Solomon started out good, but then he gave into his tempations and fell from grace so to speak.

However, the book of Proverbs still contains very good advice.

Christianity would be a nicer religion if Christians just stuck with Christ's teachings and ignored all that old world OT bullshit.

What kind of mother would let a person who would cut a child in half have her child?

It doesn't matter what his intentions are. Would you follow someone who says, believably, that he is going to cut a child in half?

You also didnt answer my last question, why is a sinner worth following?

Probably the same kind of women who stick with men who abuse them. Broken ones, with tainted values and low self esteem.
